With the Twilight Forge module comes the vaunted Drow as a player race...
If your having trouble finding out if you have enough favor points - click the new Star shapped icon on the menu bar - Look at total favor - and then look at Drow favor. After that, if you don't know where to gain accses to the Drow - the Drow Elder ( or anchient, or something ) is in the Harbor, above Gaurd Jung by the Harbormaster's House.
Also next to the Drow guy is someone who I assume to be a new collector. If you give him a Collapsed Portable Hole ( a portable hole will give you 1 additional page of Invantory space ) and 100,000 GPs ( yes, that's one hundred thousand ) he'll hook you up with another 100 Invantory slots. So, I think you can get up to 5 Inv pages if you can find the stuff and have the cash.
Can't wait to explore the rest of the Favor system. Seems pretty cool.

As for favor, do you do dungeons to gain it? I'm curious exactly how you get it after you talk to the guy.

The quests run now have Favor automaticly attatched to them - just for differant factions in the game like the Coin Lords or Church of the Silver Flame. You get X favor points for each faction when you run a quest for the first time on Normal, Hard, Elite. The ammount of Favor you get w/ each faction goes up - and as it goes up you get better rewards from the faction. In House D, I can now buy bunches of +3 ammo and ranged weapons for a prety low price. Once I go up one more rank in house D's favor - I think I can get ammo that has a 75% return rate. In House P, you can purchace 30 min Buffs that carry into quests. The quality of the Buffs goes up the more favor you get.
The Drow is not hooked into any particular faction, but seems to be more of an over-all gauge for the quests you've run.
Drow seem to be unlocked on a server-by-server basis, however. It's not an account flag. So, if you have em on one server but play on another as well - you need to unlock em on both servers. Pity.

Yea it seems everywhere you look there is a Drow. Tons of Rogues. But who am I to talk I have a Drow Pally :-). Say HI if ya see Raadar 3 lvl Drow Pally.

what are the racial bonuses of the Drow? i've yet to unlock one and wonder if its worth my effort

Oh, it's worth it...
+2 Int, +2 Dex, +2 Chr with only a -2 to Con. They also have innate spell-resistance of 11 - and can be bumped up to 17 or 19, I think. They have granted proficancies in rapier and shiruken.
The only negative is that they do not get the normal ranged weapon bonuses of regular elves, but that's negligable when put up against their advantages. Well... the other disadvantage is that you can't spit in the Harbor now without hitting three drow. :)

Wanted to make note that me and my family have been running the harbor mish's on normal hard and elite, and we nearly have all of them done on Elite and all of them done on hard at least (except solo), and not only are we almost level 5 but we also have nearly half the necessary favor to get the drow. and we haven't even started Shan To Kor, house quests, catacombs, etc in the market or houses. This is just on the harbor quests (including Goodblade on all three, and Low Road)

Geo Wizard: Lvl 50 Earth/Kin With Speed Boost and Stamina yay. Not to mention kick butt holds. Including Volcanic Gases, hehe. And now with his own moronic Animated Stone. And Transference!!! New and improved, 3 lvls in one day, adding to his arsenal Fulcrum Shift..oh yea. Can't wait to get some time under his belt now. I can now hurl Boulders....omfg no he didn't :) I look so pimp in my newest power...its brown and bumpy all over..can you guess?... Thats right is Stone Armor and it is kick butt. Fissure rocks my world! Fifty soon. Fifty on 12-10-2005 at 12:35am after 400hrs of hard labor Wanna throw a special shout out to Illusion Mastor, CBail, Mudpuppy, Jupiter Sweets, Dark Hollow, Lethal Fury, Pan, Majin Tank, Lotus of Death, and all the others i know I am forgetting for their help. And also to all the gameampers here at gameamp whom without I would never have made it.
