Put CD 1 in your CD/DVD-ROM drive and follow the instructions on the screen :-)

Welcome to Gameamp! No need to double post this though!
My (foolish) explanation! (I can't remember installing this..):
1. Put the Guild Wars disk in the drive. (E:)
2. Wait for the autoplay to start up and press "Install"
3. No autoplay? Start up "My Computer" and double click on the "Guild Wars" icon on the (E:) Drive.
4. Type in all the access key stuff and keep hitting next until it starts installing.
5. Wait for it to install.
6. Play the game.

Put the CD into the drive.
Go to the START tab on the lower left side of your monitor.
Go up to 'Run...'
Hit the arrow button and go down to the D: Setup and click.
Hit OK.
Then just follow directions.
------------------
If you downloaded it, go to the file, find the Setup.exe icon. Double click on that and follow directions.

Oh. My. God...
Guild Wars is a great game and you surely wouldn't be "wasting" your money, especially seeing as you choose to use it for Runescape *grimaces*.
Runescape has bad animation, bad graphics, almost no skills, and is completely based on how much time you waste playing it (leveling). It gets boring very quickly (kind of like Maple Story..), whereas Guild Wars has awesome PvP which keeps me entertained for long periods of time.
I wonder. Have you even SEEN Guild Wars before? Or are you just being a little fool who judges a book by the title?

Wow um this is probably the most surreal I have ever felt in my life. The onyl person I knwo who plays runescape si a hardcore scammer/hacker. He's good at it too. He says the game blows but it's fun to make money.

I'm sorry, but please watch your language. I'm not trying to insult your obvious infinitesimal intelligence.
A. PvP? Take a sword and click on an enemy. Wow, that requires a lot of skill. Too bad you don't have skills (Spells, special attacks, etc.) to use.
B. I didn't read the member benefits because the game is boring. I played for an hour and almost died of boredom.
C. If you really think Runescape is so good and all, go play it. Why are you even on a Guild Wars forum if you don't care about it?

sorry to disappoint u but gw will not work on mac

first off if macs are so much better.....then why are the good games / software made for pc.... and how can you even compare GW to RS....

I think we have too many spamming crying little kids in GW already. No offense, but sometimes I wish they could just grow up and stop acting so immaturely. Especially the ones in RA that go around yelling "OWNED" and "PWNED" all the time. It's like: "Wow, you killed 2 people with your group of you (A warrior), 2 machinegun(Air spam) eles, and a CoP monk. You sure pwned us."

Macs are popular everywhere in the world. They are perfect computers for Graphic Design, Video Editing, and Music Production. Most Music CDs you listen to have been recorded on a Mac with ProTools software.
Also Guild Wars only supports Windows.
