I just captured SS for my Cantha-born Necro and was wondering what the usual build for an SS Necro was. Thx in advance :-)
I don't know all the skills so please no abbreviations :)

This isnt mentioned in any of the guides you were linked to, but theres a factions skill named Reckless Haste that works wonders with ss, i would reccmonend dropping awaken the blood for that, and if you are going to 2 man UW, i suggest forgetting res sig and taking defile enchantments(same as desecrate, but another factions skill)

yeah rekless haste is a beautiful thing :)...i use awaken the blood..archane echo..ss..sypmathetic visage...ancestors visage...desecrate enchantments..and defile enchantments...and ofcourse reckless haste...and before anyone says what about br...get urself blessed signet im a dmg dealer not ur battery lol

Heheh I sniggered at that one! You have a point tho. I only use BR at the start to get the show going but then I only UW with guildies since every other 55 out there either sucks or buggers off with the ectos!
Here's my build:
Sympathetic Visage
Defile Enchants
Echo
SS
Recless Haste
BR
Desecrate Enchants
Res
Screw the Awaken...for +3 dmg per hit I'd rather keep the nrg and comfortably get off 4 rounds of SS on 1 echo!
RH I love but just remember that your monk isn't getting nrg from all those missed hits!
SV the smites for 15 secs and drop a RH on the mob, they use their smite hexs on the RH and SS sticks longer. I often use 1 SS and echo Defile for a 3 hit salvo.
This works nicely for ecto farming and spider runs but I don't use it outside UW, for regular missions I use a blood curses mix...try teaming up with a FoC necro for extra fun!! ^_^

Spiteful Spirit Elite Skill
For 8-20seconds, whenever target foe attacks or uses a skill, Spiteful Spirit deals 5-35 shadow damage to that foe and all adjacent foes. Reckless Haste (Factions)
Reckless Haste
Hex spell. For 5-17 seconds, target foe and all adjacent foes are hexed with Reckless Haste. While hexed, they attack 25% faster but have a 15%-43% chance to miss with attacks.
Price of Failure
For 30 seconds, target foe has a 25% chance to miss with attacks and takes 6-25 damage whenever that foe fails to hit in combat.
Insidious Parasite
For 8-18 seconds, whenever target foe hits with an attack, you steal 5-17 Health from that foe.
Empathy
For 8-18 seconds, whenever target foe attacks, that foe takes 10-26 damage.
Spirit of Failure
For 30 seconds, target foe has a 25% chance to miss with attacks. You gain 1-4 energy whenever that foe fails to hit in combat.
Energy Tap
Steal 4-6 energy from target foe. You gain 2 points of Energy for each point of Energy lost.
rez or mantra of concentration.
This build does an INCREDIBLE amount of damage.
Your stats should be 16 curse 10 inspiration maj 10 domintation maj. It does so much damage to warrior bosses it is insane. I killed thorgall in about 6 seconds.

Damn good build but with one flaw...if they stop attacking it does zero dmg :p
It will slaughter wammo's but be carfull in mixed groups. I'd bet it takes down Shiro pretty damn quick as well ^_^

I bet it would slaguhter shiro but i wouldn't know. My nec is at k temple. Also pve warriors rarely stop attacking(except when they die which will be within about 5 second on a regualr lvl 20 wammo). Also in pvp the warriors obviously miss the 6 hexes over them and die within seconds. But when the enemy stops attacking most ss build fail.

well most people always go you know curses then blood, or curses then domination magic, i like to go curses then all left over attr go to death.
heres my build.
rez sigent
spiteful spirit
arcane echo
faintheartedness
shadow of fear/reckless haste/price of failure
soul feast (for health)
putrid explosion
parasetic bond
putrid explosion is great for big groups, becasue i have my death at like 8 or something i forget, but it does somewhere around 80 dmg to all surrounding enemies, so it really helps with damage

Blood Ritual

This is what I use and it works extrordinarily well. 16 curse/illusion 10/insp 10. Again taht build will jsut most liekly kill 55 monks.
