I've been to AB's a couple times since the update, and I still dont understand what this momentum bonus is/does.
Anyone know?

Push into enemy territory = speed boost I think.

lol ur not alone i am compleatly confused by the whole thing, i mean. How do you take over a town belonging to the opposite faction? can ur faction take more then 1 of thiers at a time?? what is the whole thing with 2 different AB areas??? generally with the whole alliance faction thing, appart from u get faction from winning AB battles then u turn them into guild faction to take control of an outpost in ur own faction, i am stumped by the whole thing. :S

I dont think this new momentum thing gives either side an advantage in terms of ability (no speed boosts!), it just makes it easier to push the borders if u keep winning with the momentum in your favour.
As for the point of AB's, when one faction pushes into the otheres territory they take control of an outpost. When in Etnarin Quays, Kurzicks have the Harvest Temple and Luxons cannot buy from the traders there, and the further the boundary moves, the more Luxon outposts turn Kurzick, and vice versa.

so if for a day for example, the luxons were to win a constant stream of battles, like every battle that day, then they would own 1 or more kurzick outposts??

Yes, although it's only until they get pushed back. I remember going to leviathon Pits to buy some 15k armour, but i couldn't because it was in Kurzick hands. I went back a couple of hours later, and it was back in Luxon hands. This rarely happens now, as most battles, in my experiance, are in Saltspray, which would suggest we're pretty even, so i guess they changed the algorithm so we do see big changes again!
