Will there be Trenchcoats in Issue 8?

I'm sure this topic has come up already but I couldn't find a post about it. We've seen in Issue 7 that they can do Trenchcoats on in-game characters. Has anyone heard if this will be an option in Issue 8?

From what i understand, either issue 8 or 9 starts the senior-rewards program; giving gifts or something for people who have been with the game for 3 months and up. Reason i bring this up is i seem to remember somebody on the main boards saying that if you get this gift for being with the game for 3 months, the first thing you unlock is the trench coat costume option.

its in an article on this site somewhere, and its a fairly recent one. trenchcoats will come with issue 8. i can wait to give my bad azz biker costume a trenchcoat too

kinda sucks... i just got into this game in late janurary.... does that mean ill have to wait two years to get a power or costume piece...

i guess ill get the trench. im lvl 32. should i be up to 50 by i8 to be able to fully use i8?

the trenchcoats wont matter on a toon level for i8 from my understanding.

the trenchcoats will be part of the veterans reward system going in place.

i think the lowest veteran reward will be for 3 active months. so if thats the case, you might get a trenchcoat.

i'd love to see a list of what rewards become available. i'll have a year in december i think.

If I read what I did correctly, they will be a veteran item. I think what that means is, that after being a subscriber to play CoX for 3 months, you will unlock the trenchcoat. What I read said that it did not have to be conscutive either, merely 3 months total.

Well, I found it mentioned here. but you know how it is on the official boards, don't believe what you read until it comes official.

Yes but when he plays, it is to the exclusion of all else. That is why he only plays in short bursts when his family is gone or occupied.

He does pack in the quality time though doesn't he?

For real. But I think it's believeable. I've only been playing for about 3 months, and my main is 36 with my higest alt at 22 and a slew of other alts between 1 and 12 or so. That's at an average of 3 to 4 hours a day.

yeah jordan, can you explain how you get away with such a concentrated dose of play time?

do you personally know positron or stateman and know secrets about the game that we dont know?

jordan knew so much about the katie hannon TF that i thought he was reading the encyclopedia britannica of CoH.

what i am saying is... i have been a avid player for 7 months... i have to wait 2 years to catch up... or will theye eventually become available... i bitchered that word...fine...

but what i also want to know... the wings... will i look like swan.... because then its not worrth it... will we get beaks and paws... i want to make an SG of mythical moonlighting heroes...

and 12 or so others between levels 2 and 7 (not that most others don't have a bunch of lowbie alts :) too )

Ha! From this statement, now I finally know that you understand :D

Yes, when I play, I PLAY. For the weekend of the 2x exp and for two weeks after, all I did was CoH and Work. Oh and sleep and eat, but I did as little of those as possible.

I have to pack that in, because I play so infrequently. I can't afford the time or money to pay for CoH all the time so I make the most of it when it's active :P

Some of it may still apply though. Set up a deal with your Mom to get chores and such done so you can play uninterrupted. If you have her support, she probably won't bug you during game play as much.

usually i try and get the stuff she needs done before i log on anyway. same thing with grad school stuff and yard work.

like you say in your lil strategy guide, schedule stuff before you start to play so you dont have it hanging over your head!
