I was wondering how everyone did on the double XP weekend. I had set a goal of 32 for my main toon. Which wasn't much of a stretch since he was at 31.
And a goal of 26 for Desert Wraith. I really wanted 30 but I knew that would be pushing it so I went with 26.
I hit both of mine.

Didn't really have a goal, just wanted to level as uch on as amany of my alts as I could. Got my PB to 48, my tank to 39, my warshade to 12. Tried to level my scrapper but he didn't really seem to be geting any more XP than narmal. Anyone else have a toon that didn't seem to be getting double?

I got really close.
I started at 43 on Friday night with Ms Russia and I'm currently half way through 49. :) I was close. :)
But this way everyone from GH that want's to join the final ding mission can do it. :)
I'm not a Super Hero, but I play one on PC!

It was a good weekend...
I leveled a blaster on Triumph from 8 to 22, and a second on Champion from 11 to 20.
My loved ones gave me a pass to enjoy the game-a-thon all weekend. I stretched my legs with a few chores, a trip to the driving range, and by firing up the grill.
I was also able watch my favorite athlete win the British open in between rocking my little girl to sleep and putting villians to bed.
In the famous words of Ice Cube... 'Today was a good day'.

i managed to get Razorgenius from 33.0 to 37.2. Hes my highest toon now and I had to work about 15 hours sat/sun. I set my goal at 35 not sure what to expect and am now thrilled to see hes a powerful 37!

as I sit in front on my comp with bleary eyes, I know this, I really was happy with all I managed to do this weekend. I got my overly squishy Blaster to 26, and some lower lvl alts in a position to become interesting now. My only regret is that my Tank, my 1st toon got little if no playtime; it's my fault I know, but I was so happy to have busted that blaster loose I could not stop playing him. I finished on Monday at 1:45ish AM EST, I began Sunday at 5:45 AM EST wow what a day! My eyes hurt, my butt is numb and my fingers are cramped, it's time for bed. Paragon is in good hands, I'll sleep well.....Deadman signing off.

Yes, well, half, I only actively played one day of it and some small bits in addition here and there.
But the weekend started as I had only just hit 20 and now I'm over half way through to 28 so I'm not complaining. :-)

I had no very high goals. I wanted one of my alts to get to 20 (from 16), which I managed, but just barely. I simply had no time to play her more. Too many friends and other toons were around, so a lot of alts to play. They got a bunch of xp and levels, which is nice too.
I think the whole double xp weekend was a great success. I managed to team up and chat with people I had not seen a long time, and everybody was in high spirits. Joy all around. Still I hope they won't do it again until next year at least. It is too special to make it a frequent event. People might even stop playing and just wait for double-xp weekends to revive toons. That would be a pity.

My goal with my main (MysticAuthority) was to go from LV. 32 as high as I could go. After about 10 hrs fri, 5 hrs sat, 5 hrs sun, I have reached LV. 37. I accomplished manticore and numina taskforces, gaining those respective badges and earning my TF Commander Accolade (can't find the military epaulets in costume chocies thou X(). I also managed to get Siren's Song, Troll Task Force Badge, Role Model, and maybe a few others.
In addition to these goals, I joined a new sg on Infinity and almost swept the costume contest for the sg uniforms.
This weekend was amazing! I gained 34,000 xp from killion jurassik at the end of the numina tf...and that was just from killing him, not the tf reward. *drools* Because I can't play as often as I like, this weekend allowed me to make MysticAuthority a bit closer to the hero he's meant to be. Congrats to everyone who got a chance to succeed with their characters!

I did good, I got most my coh lowbees up to their traveling powers, that was a goal I had. I also helped my wife get her tank to lvl 50, that was her only goal she had. That and saturday night Most of my sg had descided to make new chars, so I remade my fire tank from fire/energy to a fire/ice combo and renamed him to hellfrost puppy. I'm starting to dig the fire/ice combo. As of last night apaun the witching hour I got him his super jump.

I wasn't able to play as much as I would've liked. I planned on playing till late Friday with the GA sg, but my wife got home early from work that night. She works nights and I work days, we pass eachother at the door as I am coming home and she is leaving for work. We get to see eachother for about 20-30 minutes throughout the week. So, when she can get off early we spend that time together. And our weekends are usually spent working around the house or going to do stuff away from the home. I got Acrtic about a level and a 1/2 Friday running Sirens Calls missions. That was some good XP. And then over the weekend I managed to get my scrapper to 41 and a couple of low low lowbies a few levels. My wife and I tried to play together, but the computer she plays on kept getting disconnected or it would literally take 15 minutes to go through a gate. SO a lot of wasted time there. I didn't get as much XP as I would've liked but it was great fun seeing the double XP when I was playing.
Oh and I did love the 20,000 prestige for each SG memeber. I was able to get a control device and an infermary for my Wife and I's SG base and still have ton of prestige left. Loving it, almost have a working base finally. With just my wife, a friend of mine, and I playing on the SG it has taken forever.

Well, I didn't start with any goals. I didn't actually set myself any goals till halfway through the day on Saturday when I decided I wanted to get to 32 on my controller and 20 on my blaster. But I made it on both. Almost didn't on my controller, but thanks to stumbling upon a TF team and going against my better judgement on a work night, I got to 33. Just for the record, I'm loving Phantasm. :)

Well, let's see. I jumped around quite a bit, but managed to level my PB Houki Boshi to 31, my Spines Scrapper on Freedom to 47, my Stalker to 41, and built a new Rad/Rad Defender and got him to level 8. Oh, yeah, almost forgot. I also started an Electric Brute and got him to level 12.
I caught a lot of wife aggro this weekend, gonna have to lay low awhile. :(

I took my MM from 20 to 31.3 in 3 days! I set a goal of 30 orginally but after I saw what I did thought could do 35. But me not coming back Saturday night and Sunday morning issues w/ mapserver took about 5hours of play from me. All in all very nice. I look forward to the next double xp weekend.

Although a lofty goal I failed to meet my desire to take a squid from 0-50 in a weekend. I ended it at 27, pretty fair but short of the mark... in part because Virtue went down for the count Sunday night - it was yellow all weekend, wend red for about an hour.., then all gone. I never returned to see if they got it back up.

I wish I could say that I took full advantage of this weekend, but it isn't so. I jumped on a few hours each day, but I had a considerable amount of trouble picking up teams. Since my favorites are both Controllers, soloing was pretty worthless/tedious, so I sat around and talked to my GameAmp buddies. I pushed Frygyd (my GameAmp Alliance character) from 13.8 to 16, and Mynd Warp jumped from 36 to 37. All in all, I was very disappointed. The event was amazing, and I just didn't put enough time into it. I wish it had been scheduled two weeks from now when my girl is on deployment...I could've played 20 hours each day if she were already gone. Oh well...Lost chances...Spilled milk...etc., etc.

My only goal was to get my main, Voltech X to 38 and that didn't happen. I got too distracted with the progress Fevre Dream was making. Overall I didn't get as much playing time in as I had hoped but I did get Fevre Dream from level 17 to level 22.
I thought it was a great weekend and congratz to all those that hit the 50 milestone. I may see that some day.

I had one small goal. To make it to 40 and the good content with Warron. From 36.6 to 41.5. I did it, and now I have my first AV mish, which I have been wanting since I was lvl 12 and ran an AV mish for the first time. I am very happy to have my Praetorian arc. =)
My time was slightly hindered by the missus. She and I share an account, so we had to share time as well. Her goal was to get her scrapper to 25, and she hit 26. So all in all, mission accomplished. I might have hit 42 if not for virtue dropping (grr!). Del, it was back up in about 10 minutes, you should've come back on. :)
I have a good feeling about hitting 50 soon. The upper tier content is just so good from what I've seen, that I will actually want to log Warron on all the time, lol. Wish me luck, and Good Luck to all of you on hitting your first 50!

I was planning to get from 37 to 40 and i got to 44 with my main but thats the only one i had prior to DXW so i did pretty good

My goal was L28 with my Tanker, starting from L24. I did make it.
This allowed me to pick up both Health and Stamina (didn't realize the importance of them prior to that). I need to get a respec at some point so I can pretend I picked them up earlier (also Unyielding).
Additionally: Silver Bullet and Slayer badges, allowing me to complete the Atlas Medallion, two mentoring badges for guiding around a bunch of the lowbies in my SG (I'm very pleased with my SG -- a bunch of friends from an online RPG I play on got together and formed it), Plague Stopper, Spirit Warrior, and, between Wednesday and Sunday, took down Babbage, Lusca, Jack in Irons, Kraken and Eochai.
I had a fantastic weekend.

It has been grand.
I leveled both my Ampers characters (CoH and CoV) from 7 to 12, my tanker from 29 to 30 after paying off 28,000 in debt (that's what a badly planned, heavily bugged, unfinished TF can do to you) and my scrapper from 15 to 20.3.
Moreover, the 20,000 xp/character bonus prestige was an unexpected blessing.
I agree this event should be recurent but not on a too frequent basis. It will spice up regular play but not to the point that you zoom up to final level and quit the game having nothing further to do.

I'm glad to see so many people were happy with the weekend. And I'm with Phe, in the hopes that they don't do it again any time in the near future. I think it is nice for an every once and a while thing, but to much of this and we would have the same problem the Winter Lords caused 2 christmases ago.
I also think that 3 days was enough. Any more than that and I'm sure a lot more people would be dealing w/ "spouse aggro" and maybe some "work aggro" when they got mysteriously sick for the entire time the double xp was going on.
It took me a bit of time to find a team every time I logged in, but when I finally got on one, it was the "eternal PUG". When one person left, we would replace them and keep on going. It was actually pretty cool. I haven't had that in a long, long while. Normally when half the team quits, everyone calls it quits. But this weekend, when half the team quit, we would just replace them, and move on.
This did make for some really good teams, and some really bad teams. But I have to say, there weren't to many of the bad ones. Usually just one or two players who weren't so good, and they normally quit after one mission.
And now... I'm babbling, so I'm going to stop

What a great weekend.
Thank you everyone for your help, whenever I needed it.
My goal was just to get as high as I could on my Scrapper Speed Trap. I started at 28.0 and ended at 34.3.
I was a little surprised at not getting a new power at 34, lol. I wasn't prepared, because this is the highest I ever got. I also collected a few badges, including The Believer, and a great screenie of Sally before I touched her, (will post later).
I could have made it to 35, but I had a meeting early this morning at work. With great effort, I was able to pry myself away from the 'puter. (sobs). I wanted to stay so bad, but I was seeing doubles anyway.
Congratulations everyone, on all your accomplishments.

Blasters kill everything, usually before they get killed themselves. When it comes to dealing pain, a blaster has no equal. We just have a hard time taking our own medicine! So we love Tanks and 'fenders!
