Okay I have seen two different people with the helmet that arachnos's minions use. I never got an answer out of the two but I know for sure you can get one. Here is a picture of what im talking about...
It doesnt have the red glowie things but i know for a fact that you can get one. Does anyone know how? It would really help me out!

I belive it was a special gift for those who pre-ordered CoV.
Edit: To my knowlege there is no other way to get it.

I actually went to Fry's Electronics just after CoV came out to buy the preorder box for $.01 because I couldn't afford the game. I wanted to make sure I got the preorder items. Then when I actually got the game, the preorder scratch off was too old and the paper just tore.
The lesson to learn is:
Scratch off and write it down when you first get it!
Back to the topic at hand, I wonder if any of those preorder boxes are wandering around E-bay or some bargain bin electronics store.
I bet you could make a bundle buying preorder special ingame items just after a game comes out and then selling them on E-bay after a couple months.

I'm sure somebody still has one for sale. One of my friends bought an unused one just last week.
You do have to be very careful when you scratch it off, though. The tiniest bit of xylene, applied carefully with a QW-tip, will help.
One more thing:
There were four different prestige helmets, depending on where you pre-ordered your CoV. Three stores had special ones all their own, and the fourth was for all other stores. I have no idea which one was the Arachnos helmet.

I have 2 different ones, 1 on each acct. I got one pre-order and one off E-bay. A guy was selling em for like $4.00 and he just emails the code. I got it in a day or so. Its the dark green one. I'll see if its still on ebay from that seller and if its not violating any rules i'll mention the seller. BTW you can only have 1 helm per acct.
Okay the seller I used was NCgame. The helmet is the wolf spider helm. I was pleased with the transaction, but I have no association with him/them and am not making any gaurentee or anything and it is $2.49 extra if you want the box etc. Looks like he still has some available.

I have the Arachnos Helment option. I pre-ordered CoV from GameStop and that was the goodie I got. Then, in a recent update, the devs made the CoV costumes available for heroes (if you owned CoV).

You know, NCsoft could make sooooo much money if they allowed people to buy costume items that you missed. For example, I missed valentines day, by a week and I didn't get a toga. But you know atleast, they could let us buy the costume for a small price or atleast be nice and give us the costume with no charge if we missed it. But don't say "oh but sam that is like, not fair" or what ever IS BUYING THE COV/COH collectors edition fair to everyone, no, I just happened to have the money in which I inteneded on spending games. All in all I, prolly spent around $100: 1 when the game was released, 2 when i found about the collectors edition, 3 when i found out about CoV collectors edition. And to tell you the truth I don't really play much of CoV because of facism and grinding poverty...
