Gailes in Shing Jea Int 1 right now. Am logging. Here are the highlights so far:
1. They know people are having trouble connecting to the store.
2. Sounds like the store may not be "finished" as far as slots are concerned. Not sure what this means since others have been able to get slots already.
3. Payment is by CC only, but they are open to other options if they can work out a way to do it.
4. Nightfall speculation is just that: speculation.
5. Nightfall slots will be just like Factions. 4 slots, or 2 if merged.
6. There will be no "free" slot for the preview weekend.
7. Will not confirm nor deny Nightfall release date.
8. No commitment to "auction houses" in any specific fashion or date, but trade improvements are "on the way"
9. Gaile does not believe (though she admits she may be wrong) that Assassins and Rits will get new skills in Nightfall; that new skills are for core classes only.
10. They will NOT be adding a monthly fee. That's a commitment they made early on and intend to continue.
11. She's "heard" about campaign 4.
12. You will keep skill unlocks from this weekend's preview, but they will of course be locked until Nightfall's release.
13. Superior Runes are missing due to demand.
14. More info on Nightfall in the "near" future.
15. No new playable races in Nightfall.
16. You can buy a max of 26 slots, but you will always get more with each game you buy (eg, +2 more if you merge Nightfall).
17. The online store is not "officially" open, though, yes, some people have gotten in and done their thing.
18. No mounts planned for Nightfall.
19. Gaile does not cheat.

cud u ask if they will make any decent water magic spells for ele's cuz atm the amount of skills for water is a bit thin.

Is it just me, or is this the exact same thing that happened when Factions was planned? lol
Anet is turning into EA Games, they are making a new game with the same title and same stuff every year. The differences from the original GW and Factions aren't that great, to me it looks kinda the same... I really hope that this new edition will bring something fresh, not just new monsters to kill...
PS: Dont get me wrong, right now I'm screaming in pleasure for the new edition, gonna buy it straight away =)

slye_boy she does not have much info about the new skills so also not about the water skills. I am sorry i would like osme water skills too :D. But hse is gone now.

Gaile is a PR person for Anet. She shows up in-game to give us info on the state of the game, including new releases, updates, and user feedback.

Community Relations, Public Relations, whatever, she tells people in-game about the game and she gets interviews and tells companies about the game.
Now to my question: Soon after Gaile left (missed her, dang), I got in the International District 1 and asked around if someone got a lil info on the Morale Bosst for pets update (if it's only applied to PvP, prior to the DP update for pets). One person confirmed that it's PvP only, but another said it wasn't asked nor awnsered. I don't see it anywhere in the log either. Did any of you people get to read the whole visit and if so, could you awnser my question? Thank you

Nope she did not answer that qeustion so it is only for pvp yet i i think i dont have a ranger so i cant try it out.

What's the point in that? The people who started with Factions ain't gonna be to happy about it. Nor do those people who focus on playing with a single character that might be a rit or assasin. This decision is just unfair. It seems that from now on they're going to plan classes that only last for one chapter only... ... :S

What store and where can I see it? I'm assuming this is the option to buy extra slots that was confirmed months ago?

This is payment for things you buy from the store, namely character slots, and whatever other upgrades they come up with later. There are a lot of fevered rumors that they may add payable storage upgrades as well, though this is PURE rumor and has not been addressed by Anet or Gaile (though Gaile did say a couple days ago she thought it was an interesting idea, but that's all she said).

Again, she is not sure and may very well be wrong. These details have yet to come to light. Quite apart from locking down the expansion classes, I have a hard time believing they will be able to continue adding so many new skills to the core classes without ending up with masses of duplicates (already have some in Factions).

There was a button on the character-select screen this morning that would take you to "The Guild Wars Store" where you could buy character slots. Few people managed to get in, however, as they had a massive amount of traffic. They are trying to correct that now, but have taken down the button in the meantime.

cuz its for the core profs only... when things like chapter 10 come out there would be thousands of new skills
althought they might bring out ones where there arnt any new profs but there is updates for old profs like ass rit dervish and paragon..(and later classes)

well it doesnt sound like auction houses are coming, im curious too see the trading improvements (probably a room which is just for trading or an island with different places for diff items..)
we will just have to wait and see =)
