looking for silver dye and can't find or remember where there might have been a dye trader?....i'd appreciate any help....thx

You can buy Silver Dye at a Dye Trader unless they are out. If you would like to save some money, you can buy it from a person who got the drop.

depends if you are in prophecies pre-searing there is no dye trader though. if you arre there will be one later in the game. :) if you mix silver + blue (or silver + green)that is 1 of the cooliest colors like ever!!! :)><

There are dye traders in every major town in both factions and prof guild wars.
Quick and easy way to find the dye trader or any other NPC is stand in the middle of town with the "alt" button held down and this will show all the NPC's (none playing characters) like the merchants n so on.
If you are wondering what classed as a main town area, well Ascalon/Lions Arch and in factions the Monastery in the training isle and Keinang Center on the main land.
In most main towns the Dye Seller is not far from the other merchants so jut head to near them and hold "alt" key on your keyboard down once again to highlight the names of the sellers n NPC's in that area.
Edit = ,, yep ,, forgot a bit, like "f1nal fantasy" posted above,, no dye seller at allin pre- seering (the training grounds) on prof guild wars.

Yep,, a dye trader in each major town,, but I thought I would only list the main first couple of each area and more important the use of the "alt" key to help fond the missing sellers ;)
