OK, have to harp and yodel for just a sec...again! LOL
Well, couldn't play worth a darn at work, so when I got home I ran to the computer and logged in...did a couple of missions and didn't die during any of them, color me surprised because the baddies were equal and one level above me for both missions I did. Out of nowhere I get this invite to team, I was about to click NO, because the person was nowhere in sight and I normally like to at least see who invites me before I say yes, if I don't know you.
I get a tell from the person asking if I would like to join her and 2 others on a TF mission for Positron. I thought what the hell, the worst that could happen is I die and get debt or at the very worst, everyone just abandons the TF slowly during the missions. Wrong, the people I teamed with were fantastic! We lost one due to his family showing up out of nowhere, which left us with 3, didn't stop the TF thankfully.
It was so much fun, I mean it was truly a mind blowing experience for me. I was low man in the group with level 13 and a half. The team leader was level 16 and the other hero was level 14 almost 15. The mission were fairly simple because we only had 4 members when we started. The XP on the other hand was outrageous!!! The lowest we fought was level 13s which gave me good xp as it was, but, we found ourselves facing levels 13 through 16 and I was getting full xp for every KO we did, and we cleared out all missions of baddies (I've heard people chatting about a bad TF because the leader would run straight to the mission's objectives and finish them as quickly as they could) I only died once during the whole TF and the mission bonus was so high, it wiped out the debt at the end of the mission!
Ok, to make this shorter then normal...Healing Hands went from level 13 1/2 to level 16!!!! And right now, I'm half way to level 17! I've never leveled a hero so fast before. Not only do I have Super Jump, which might be another post on how much fun that power is, but, thanks to hitting level 16, I now have "Recall Friend" so when we do events with lower level heroes that have no travel power...I can help!! yah me!! Plus I got a kicking SO as a bonus gift, but, after reading the info on it, I couldn't use it, so I sold it for almost 8,000 influence! I'm still freaking out over the TF and how fun it was...but, it did take us almost 5 hours to complete it. At least for me, it was time well spent and a pure joy for my first TF, I hope we can do a couple of them as a SG event in the near future.

Congrats on hitting 16... recall friend is a great power.

i'm glad to hear you got on one of the good teams... they dont happen often but when they do it totally makes up for all the bad expierences from the past.... i'm always glad to hear when someone gets on a good team... thanks for the story!

Good for you, man! Good TF's don't come along very often... I'm shaking in my boots thinking of the sister psyche one that's next for me...

Yay for unexpected happy surprises :) Hmm, now you're too high level to do the task force with me :( I better get my butt in gear.

Ah, but, I can help in the TF for you...My alt hero...Gail is level 9, I think, and I'm about to start working on her, but, she is difficult to solo, so it will be a slow trek for her to get to level 16.
