Could people have a look at this and tell me how they interpret it http://eu.plaync.com/eu/games/info/exteel/
From what it says there "Q4 2006" i'm taking a guess here and think it means the fourth quarter of 2006 so september/october-december. Good news at least they've set a rough date.
What a christmas present that would be .... ^_^

Yeah, the US site (http://www.plaync.com/us/games/exteel/specs.html) states Q4 2006 as well. Which means Oct-Dec 2006. That does sound indeed promising.

I know this thread is old, but I find it odd that EBgames is charging $49.95 for Exteel before any official word is given.

Hmm, I just clicked the Add to Cart button on that EBgames page and it changed the release date from 12/01/06 to 09/03/07 in my Cart window.
Interesting...

Yeah EBgames were just trying to scam people out of money, i think, they had a preorder avalible a while ago and were announcing it as a Monthly subcription game, at $11 a month or something
So now i trust EBgames less :D

maybe it was intended to be a retail game first (and second launch date isnt possible since it already passed)
