Actually, discussed on another forum I go to, a Pokémon MMO would be (ew ew ew) a good MMO.
You got it so everyone can get their Pokémon to high levels, but you can just go and find a "better" Pokémon and train that one. That way, all of them are diverse and no one trainer would be "the best" since it'll take an uber character so long to train that awesome new Pokémon they found, while a newbie trains their first Pokémon to level one billion.
Think of the possibilities within that MMO! That makes more sense than none.

Hopefully they'll come out with a Mod that lets you roll around in a tank in the Hello Kitty world =P
Forgot what it was.....but there was a mod for a really retarded kids game a while back, that let you roam around a very bright children's game, complete with bright flowers, a sun that never set, and endless green fields, with an M1 Abrams. It was a one of those 2D games or something *shrug* Was really funny =P
