Another Double-Your-Fun Weekend 8 August 2006
This weekend, August 11 to August 13, you'll find yourself twice as likely to nab a rare drop from any chest in Cantha. And, to help you get into those chests, you will also notice an increase in the drop rate for keys, too! Come along this weekend and see what you can add to your collection of cool items! The fun starts at Noon PDT on Friday, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Sunday.
its cool how anet is coming out with these little special events but they dont really do much,the elite weekend was nice cuz of free ferries from kc and all but it just doesent intrest me much.
you know nahpui quarter is going to be loaded w/ wammos this weekend... all spamming for chest run groups... :-)

I will be impressed if you actually get 'double' drops. I went 10-12 time into the Warren and got only 1 drop the whole time (no common items either) and it was rare but it wasnt 'doubled'. Infact I dont recall seeing anyone get two rare items from one monster.

First off, you only have double chance to get dold drops from chests... Not monster.
Second, you dont get 2 drops but you have a double chance that the drop willl be gold.
last weekend I only got 2 gold drops no greens they werent that great i got a +29 health staff piece and some zodiac daggers i think it was 7-17 +7 armor and like +15% dmg health above 50%.... :/ I wonder if I'll have better luck this weekend.
