1. Alliance Battles (Quest take longer - Unless you constantly loose battles)
2. Construct good group take in 2 monks (Due to the fact most parties don't bother waiting for a monk) - Or a party of touch rangers / tanks and kill, not primarily concentrating on objectives - or forming standard groups and winning :)
3.Farm gold...9/10 times it'll be faster (Green weapon farming better in the long run)
4.800 - 900
- hope this was of a help

you are correct, but if properly set-up a touch ranger group can take out a balanced group in mere seconds( no i do not play a touch ranger)

Touch ranger groups are cheap and rather unimaginative in my opinion. Please, if you're going to farm faction, put in enough effort with builds you developed yourself rather than overused and often very cheap builds like touch rangers. And if you have to have a touch ranger in your group, please limit it to one. A challenge is fine, but a whole group of touch rangers just ruins the experience for almost everyone. You get faction whether you win or lose, so just use a character you like with a build you've developed to suit your playing style. Although 'touchies' do have a bad stigma in battles, it's more or less deserved; they're annoying enough when there's only one of them, but get more and it makes it no longer an enjoyable and challenging adventure. It might be 'easy faction' for you, but I don't think that's really worth making another player decide that the battles aren't fun at all because of a group wanting to steamroll the opposition with such a cookie-cutter-ish build.
I'm not for nerfing in any way, in any case, but I do wish people would exercise discretion with this sort of thing. I've met exactly one touch ranger that I thought was fine, and all the rest I've met are just people that read about how awesome it was somewhere and just copied a build to get fast faction. Before I started doing any alliance battles at all I had only heard incessantly about how hated touch rangers are. Well, speaking from experience now, I have to agree that overuse of them will probably only tempt a nerf. I wish people would use more discretion on this sort of thing.
Anyway, there are plenty of repeatable quests that aren't too hard, like the running of supplies, defeating the Luxon scouts, securing the forest, and so forth. You can easily do those quests again and again for faction. And honestly, most of the time in the Alliance Battles you're waiting for an opposing party to join. I think in the time it takes to fight and win or lose a battle there, you could probably have done one of the shorter quests. And while a disastrous loss in the battles nets very little faction, the rewards for the quests are consistently the same.
You just have to weigh whether you want to take the chance or not. And it helps very much if you have a good group.
Good luck!

Think there are enough threads about Touch Rangers that suck, this one however, is not one of them :)
But yeah AB is the best way to own faction, and if for example the Luxons are @ Grenz Frontier, switch to Fort Aspenwood, alot easier to win :) From luxon perspective that is ;)
