Hey all!
Just for those that have NOT fought Dr. Vahz yet.
The mission he iis in asks you to destroy 4 bodies. It is possible to finish the mission WITHOUT killing Dr. Vahz.
The reason I'm warning you about this, is that 3 of us went into this mission, NOT knowing he would be in it. At the end of the mission we were very excited (lvl 15 blaster, lvl 14 scrapper and a lvl 6 controller sk). The problem was he is a arch-boss (or whatever it said) He was TOUGH! The 3 of us could only get him down to about 1/3 health because he regenerated quickly.
The problem was, during fighting, we picked up the last body, which caused the mission to be completed, which means NOBODY new can enter the mission, nor can one of the group leave and come back in. So, without any inspirations, we were toast.
My friend still got his souveneir, but it sucked not being able to beat him down!

I actually did that arc solo, and about freaked when I saw the Doc standing there. Luckily I could skirt around him and get the last body. I don't think he's meant to be killed in that mission though. Thinkin he's more just there for scenery. Isn't there a TF mission specifically for him?

I killed him with a group last night. We rocked him hard, and he died within one minute.
We were 2 lvl 17's SK'd to lvl 19 and 20, 2 lvl 20's and one 21.
and one thing..
Recovery aura ROCKS!

hehehe... That mission can be completed without kill Dr. Vahz, but where is the fun in htat??
Plus if you do kill him you get a nifty SO Enhancement for your troubles.

I've killed him before. A team of 2: me (it was my mission so I was somewhere in 14-15 range, and I'm a blaster) and a lv 17 or so tanker. We bashed his brains in... I've since recreated this blaster twice with different powersets, hehe. Finally determined that I like en/en.
But this beat-down was before I started listening to PR, but don't worry, I'll make sure to notify you all once I do it again :D

Yes we did. I got a level 20 Magic damage SO, wich I gave to the blaster in the group, as she had more use of it than me.
I even asked if it was possible to get SO's that low, and you answered me :P
