Right now i'm a lvl 11 katana/SR wanting to go to PVP! I don't know why i'm still loseing end at a low lvl, as i just came from regen, and i was wondering if at lvl 12 i get combat jumping or swift. and at lvl 14 get superjump or health. And at lvl 20 i get quickness that adds to swift. and at lvl 22 i get stamina.(which i need)
this is my build
Lvl 1=Sting of the wasp and focused fighting
Lvl 2=focused senses
Lvl 4=Agile
Lvl 6=flashing steel
Lvl 8=Divine avalanche
Lvl 10=practiced brawler
Lvl 12=combat jumping or swift
Lvl 14=Super jump or health
Lvl 16=dodge
Lvl 18=locus drops
Lvl 20=quickness
Lvl 22=assault or stamina
lvl 24=tactics or hurdle
I hope this isn't to hard to follow as if i said "or" inbetween the first one always go with the other first ones and the second ones go with the second ones! i'll be back to check once i hit lvl 12! PLZ HELP!

IMHO - Travel power first. You can get to missions faster and keep the leveling flowing. Otherwise you'll be spending a lot of time in between missions just trying to get there.

Totally agree with Thundar on this one. Past hollows, contacts give you a LOT of inter-zone missions. Not having a travel power could easily cut your leveling speed immensely. The time spent traveling between missions could easily be as much if not more than the time spent doing the actual mission itself. My MA/Regen leveled from level 13-19 today with SJ getting him from mission to mission. If I was still using only sprint...I probably would've only gotten to 15 or 16.
Do yourself a favor and get Super Jump...you'll be glad you did.

I have heard, but never tried myself, that a combo of swift+sprint+quickness can be a viable alternative for PvE. You mentioned PvP, though. I would say a travel power would be necessary for that, whether you want to catch up to your prey, or get away quickly from an opponent.

Unfortunately, you are in the "No cool powers Zone". Combat Jumping(12), Super Jump(14), Health(16), Stamina(20)......... roughly 8 levels and just character Pool selections. You can get one power selection at 18 that is not an underlying setup power. I believe that most Scrappers go with another Secondary at this level to make them a little tougher, and rely on the attacks they already have. You will have multiple good power selections to make. It will not be an easy choice.
This is the grind most of us hate. There are all of those lovely Primary and Secondary power selections that you have to drool over and not touch.
The only good thing about this range for you is that the Jumping pool takes very little if any extra slots. You can put the Slots given at level 13 and 15 into you attacks or secondaries to make them better.
My advise, run as many TF's as possible to get past this grind quickly. Most teams like a good Scrapper running point, so you shouldn't have much of a problem finding a group.

I have found SR to be very endurance-heavy. I have not tried it again since the dev's lowered the endurance cost of SR's powers an issue or 2 ago. If you are already having endurance issues, you may want to put yourself on track to get Stamina by level 20.
