Which Brute?

Other than my MM I am going to have a Rad/Rad Corruptor and a Brute, but I'm not sure what kind of Brute I want to be..... Energy/Energy, Dark/Dark, or Electric/Electric....They all sound Pimp but idk which one, help plz!

kk heres what i say i like my rock rock brute but the knockback is bad so i would have to say go with elec attacks and rock armor i say thats good and i seen like 1 and he was rockin so yea elec/rock is what i would have to say

Super Strength/Invulnerable. All I can say is Rage rules. This is the essence of the Brute. Play the classic build and then expand out to try the others.

I love my Dark/Dark Brute. He is tons of fun solo and in groups. Now, he can not take the punishment that a /rock can but he can dish it out big time. The only downside to DM/DA is that they are both endurance hogs, which means you will need at least one endurance reduction in all your attacks and 2-3 in the DA powers.

Oh and before I forget, you also get two heals and an endurance drain/heal power. I can not think of another combo that gets both of them, without picking up another pool.

SS/Rock FTW!! Rage rules the -damage of granite, swift 3 slotted gets you a normal run (without sprint on), Hasten takes care of the low recharge. The super strength just pwnz cuz you can just beat em up when they bite the dust with knockbacks. with granite on an you have all of the above, you are next to invincible. slot rooted for regeneration good and you wont break a sweat when you have a regerneration contest with those AVs. with mud pots, you can skip any primary power set taunts. this build has pwnz written all over it!!

I always loved the Super Strength/Stone armor set. Super Strength has the best choices since you get Knockout Blow at such an early level, while other sets get their main damage attack way later on (lvl 26+). As for stone armor, well the animation on that is just so awesome, due to the all the different types of resistances.

I also think you can't go wrong with the electric armor set...especially the one that gives you +speed and +recharge to all your powers (Lightning Reflexes).

(Everyone tells me that the electric melee set is great, but I tried it and got my toon to 18...That was when I realized I had wasted 18 levels. Most of the powers do less damage than any other set and I've seen it in action in pvp...it took them 5 minutes to finally get who they were fighting down half their life).

Tbh honest you cant get a better secondary then earth, its defences are massive and it has psy defence (ahh that rare gem minerals). Primary jsut fantasise go with what you WANT not which is 'best'
