imho id say GvG or Heroes Ascent.

ah yeah XD forgot about those.
you can do 1k from zaishen challenge and then 3k i believe from elite and if your REAL bored go to isle of the nanmeless on the right (dont quote me) there's a little endeavor there too dont know the faction rewarded total there.

You can trade it for skills with the Balthazar Priests around the PvP areas.

AB also gives fast balthazar points. I was up to 10k in no-time.

Yes, AB's are probably the 2nd or 3rd fastest way to get Balthazar faction.. GVG's are quickest, obviously.
Anybody who wants to create options for pvp builds should get balth's faction and unlock everything.

Oh, um, and I should've been more specific, you can trade Balthazar faction for skills for PvP characters to unlock them, you can't unfortunately use them to purchase skills on your PvE characters. So if you don't PvP a lot, Balthazar faction is slightly more useless than a third nipple.

It unlocks stuff for your PVP characters, so the more stuff you have unlocked the more creative you can be with your pvp experiments. Also its just plain old fun to try to unlock every weapon mode or skill. I got all the weapon maodes for staffs and swords unlocked now I think.

gvg is easily the best faction gaining pvp thing there is.
fully unlocked ; took 1,010,000 faction in total ;P
