I like the stalker better..
even though the MM was my first CoV toon I lost all interest when I got my Oni and he used fire cage.. completly ruined my force bolt love 8(....

My first toon was a ninja mm. Played him up to 18 before i lost him. What i now find funny is that from levels 3-12 i was soloing with my mm on relentless (being new i didnt know what the titles meant, also i never read text which doesn't help much :P) I later tried this again with zombies... and i was constantly annalated. I want my beginners luck back...
Stalkers I'm fair new to and i prefer scrappers. Because im used to scrappers i often think the lesser amount of life my stalker actuly has and end up paying for it... Although this doesn't mean i dont like them.
All in all id probably say i prefer mm's.

MM's are still too easy in my opinion. I don't feel I am doing enough. Although my lvl 36 MM is still my highest villain I rather play my stalker at the moment. But for me the brute is the favourite AT.

Out of those two I prefer MM, the gameplay is so much easier. I can go afk and let the thugs do the pwning or I can pull out my pistols and go on a whipping spree

With DM, Combat Jumping and Soul Mastery, you as the Mastermind are truly busy 95% of the time. It really just depends on the secondaries you take. /FF MMs can expect to be doing a lot less than a /poison would be doing simply because of each sets mechanics.

Stalkers are my first love, sneaky-stealth-one hitter quitter....what more can you ask for? (Claws/Ninjitsu FTW!)
MMs, the lazy man's AT...lol. Seriously, what better way to play than to gang up on your enemy without teaming up. The more Henchmen/pets you can get, the better. One can never have too much back up.

MM's might seem easy. But controling 6 henchmen must be a bit of a pain. My top mm had 4 and at time i found it hard (soloing on ruthless in cap) to keep track of all 4 of my ninjas. Maybe because of my differcult or maybe due to the fact i was still new and didnt know how to manage sets properly who knows. But for those who dont like to much work once mms are at max power and well slotted you can kick back and watch some fireworks. (though i doubt that would be the case).

ahhh, but did you know this? you can pick your last secondery power at lvl 38, so really stalkerst cant AS them hit them as well as brutes so thats why my favoetie is a MM cuz of the force bubble stalkers are good too, the only way to hit a MM (with FB on) is a spine stalker with the spine throw thing

Yeah I rather have my MM then a Stalker. Cause i can solo easily unlike a Stalker. I rarely die (Meat Sheilds :D) and i dont take much damage. Where Stalkers just go in take more damage and more prone to die. MM's can help other peeps out with buffs and debuffs. Only thing I dont like about MM is until u hit Warburg its hard to do PvP. But a stalker has AS which has to be one of the best moves out there.

Ahh yes, the mm is defo the lazy man/never actuly at the screen (like me) man's choice. Just push attack and sit back, occasionly healing or throwing a debuff if the mood is right...

and thats why i like the MM with the FB no one can touch him but the corr any other MM and i think thats it and oh yeah DOM men they are the only ones that can turn of the FB cuz there holds and stuff so i need to get a power to resit it

Between the two, I definitely prefer MM. I won't argue that that mastermind doesn't provide plenty of opportunities to be lazy, but I would say that - depending on your secondary set - there's always something to be engaged in (especially with the difficulty racheted up).
I know with Dark Miasma there's always plenty that can be/should be done: fear/hold/heal/disorient/debuff - you get the idea.
I suppose that's why I love playing my MM - because I can choose between being super occupied or jumping around the room for fun while my army does all the work. You get to have it both ways! :)

kk i know we have a winner but a MM with steath pool power set omg can do wonders if u dont have tele {wich if u get invise ability i would get}but an mm with the steath pool power is like 6 stalkers just run to the end find a place to set up and go to work and u could all so tp ur team to end of mish

Yes, in this battle there are only MMs vs. Stalkers, but the entire war of which AT is better has all the ATs in it. I assumed you were talking about a war between all ATs as there is really no actual war that I've ever heard of between just MMs and Stalkers.

I like the MM set better. I already play a lot of scrappers so the stalker set just seems to similar to me (ignoring the whole assassin strike power). I always looked foward to getting pets when I was a controller but never could get them to 32. Thanks to the masterminds, I can have pets at lvl 1.
