I just got ut2004 and was wondering if anyone had any tips?
Should I play the single player to get the hang of the controls and movement?
I enjoyed the demo and was ok in the online aspect. I mostly play America's Army and Guild Wars.

Yes, first of all do the SP so you can learn the basics of the game and get familiar with the guns. Then read some tips about special moves like shieldjump, strafe jump, etc. and watch some videos to know what can you do in the game.
Then go online and make a lot of headshot's :P

Thx :) I ran through the entire SP :) kicked some AI butt but I will look at the tips. :)

O.K this is to help everyone out really. At the last level vs. the last dude is really easy. Especially Xan. Well I found a pretty easy way to defeat them with only killing him once without trying.
Go to your settings and look for a thing called auto aim. (Auto aim only works on single player)
Go to the last level and go to the top of the spaceship where the shock rifle is. You can grab shields to help yourself out too. Go up to the top where shock rifle is and wait for the boss. When he pops up kill him ONCE. He's really easy with auto aim, but once you get to 11, auto aim sucks. Well when you killed him once go to the shock rifle area again. Next to it you see that wierd thing behind it.
You need a traslocator to get on top of it, but you can go behind it. When you jump to go behind it, hold C for crouch. When crouched you can fall of the edge. Once you get on the back, see if you can stand up... if you can then go do something else until the timer runs out.
If you messed up getting at the back then just restart.

or kill him twice then let him kill u and dont repawn xD lmao well i did this but this isnt the way to do it...u gotta play the whole match till u do it proply lol...besides u dont get anything important so beating him without 'exploits' is much better than wiv...in the end ur just makin urself worse...or not better lol!
