Let me welcome you here too, cswella. COH and COV are indeed amazing great games. The same gameamp.com global channel on villain site works on hero side too. Which makes us basically one big community. And in case you haven't seen my explanation there yet (or for others that forgot how to do it :P) let me explain it:
| QUOTE | Right click in your bottom chat window and select add channel. The channel name is gameamp.com. After you have added the channel, right click in your bottom chat window again and select edit tab. From there you can add the global channel to your chat.
A very handy bind a lot of players have set up is:
/bind p beginchat /send "gameamp.com" {$name, $level]
Now if you press 'p' your chat will automatically go to the gameamp channel. Which saves you a lot of clicking and mistells. (NB: the { before $name should be a square bracket) |
Except for the initial add channel you will have to do this for all the characters you make.

good choice on servers because triumph is the server of choice for most ampers and the Alliance SG and Inmates VG are both there.
the best way to rock out with other ampers is to join the gameamp.com global channel, and directions to do so can be found using the clicky linky below.
