| Rumor - One more week until Beta |

I have heard a rumor that September 8th could be the day. Oh, I really hope that's true.
Then I heard that the game may not go live until Spring 2007! Whew, if that rumor is true, that's a pretty long beta, however, I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

It would be great if that was the day! Are your sources good for this rumor?
And I've also heard Spring 2007. But if they are just beginning beta testing in Sept, I can see how it could take that long. Beta testing takes quite a bit of time. And they have all those phases, and well... as long as the game comes out bug free, I'll be happy.

Not sure if the source is good or not, but it does come from an Alpha 3 player. There is much talk amongst them currently, due to the upcomming character purge. They feel it could only lead to the beta...or maybe an Alpha 4 phase. Lets hope it is not the later.

Depends a bit on the what the devs feel like, but usually not. If you get to beta test very early in the development you characters will probably be deleted several times over. But as beta tester you already have a big advantage over other players in that you know the controls and opponents already.
