It's unbelievable that a wonderful, friendly guild come disband in the matter of minutes...
Everything started earlier today when the leader and some of the other people started to discuss about raiding and how everyone should get up to lvl 60 fast since the higher lvl peeps were getting tired of waiting.
Well, the members found out that the guild leader had already applied to another guild so he could get to raid.
Some of the members got really upset since they were good friends and they had rerolled together, deleting their old chars and the leader does a trick like that.
Well, 3 members, good friends of mine and the most friendliest persons I've met during my WoW time, left the guild while some others stayed in the guild.
I could've coped with the guild disbanding like that but then I found out that 2 of my dearest friends from the guild are planning on abandoning the WHOLE realm and moving to another (PvE...) realm.
So now I don't know what to do:
A)Stay in the realm with what's left of the guild.
or
B)Immigrate to another realm with my friends.
I've put alot of work in my current character and I have a RL friend and some other friends in the realm but then again , I don't want to lose the 2 other friends that are leaving the server. But if I go with them, I'd have to play in a PvE realm and start all over again...
It's all gone wrong...and all because of raiding... :'(

Alright so ur leader was lvl60, correct?
and if lvl60s have no raiding in their lives what are they left to do? help some lowbies? wrong....he left because he was impatient and wanted to start getting some good ol' armor then stick around for a few months with a guild who had not been ready for that...he find a guild who is ready what other choice does he have?
ok...so your high lvl got ur mount and ur sargeant...you have a rl friend in the same realm u are currently at...hmmm...wonder what you should do...
never thought about choice c) find a new guild..

Well the reason why the members got upset was because there were few who rerolled with the leader at the same server and the leader swore he'd stay with them. Personally I wouldn't have had a problem him moving on with his char but some were upset.
Well the guild is now trying to get back on it's feet but it's just that the members who left were good friends of mine and 2 of them are moving to a totally different server. I like hanging around with them in-game and I like doing stuff with them. The main reason I'm even wondering if I should go with them is that it's a PvE realm....-.-

For what it is worth, my 2 cents...
You and your friends should make sure not to delete the characters on the PvP server. No point burning your bridges just yet. Don't believe me? Ask those who deleted their toons in order to follow your ex-guild leader.
I would stick around where you are and see how things shake out. People get emotional when something like this happens. In a few days you'll have a better idea of who is really gone for good and who left in a huff but will think better of it after a little time to blow off some steam.
If you want to try a PvE realm then maybe you and your friends should roll some characters on one. Call it a vacation. Take a little time off on a nice safe realm. Heck, roll some Alliance and see some sights you've never seen before. If you are like me, however, you'll get bored after a few days. Strangely I was missing the gankers like I missed "Barrens Chat" once I got to new zones.
In the end though the only piece I can think of is to be patient. Something big happened today. Don't overreact. Don't do anything sudden. Don't do anything you'll regret next week. Chill out, kick back, and enjoy your 3-day weekend.

I just think that you should make a character with them. Play when your original character seems fun then when it starts geting boring allow it to get double xp and play on the other with friends. and my opinion pve servers are a lot more fun.

that's really sad to hear. Specialy from friends who you think will stick around for you. I suggest not deleting your character yet and see waht happens. If it gets to that reroll with ur friends on a different server but use it at alt account mainly. If it's a pve realm and u dont like those, Remember it's a game and we all play for fun :)

I don't understand the deleting of characters before moving to another realm. Just makes no sense to me.
As for advice, I would suggest you make a character on the new server, and see if switching over seems worth it. You can always change you mind. Just don't delete anything.

They switched sides in a PvP realm. Some of them even had to dele lvl 60's with epics.

Can't be done. :(
A)They're going to be on the Ally side in the new realm and we're currently Horde.
B)I don't think you can transfer characters between PvE and PvP realms.

1) Sucks for you, but at least you're horde.
2) You can transfer FROM PvP TO PvE but you CAN'T from PvE to PvP.
I say roll horde on the PvE. What server? Come to Blackhand!!!! I know you're on EU servers, but SWITCH to US Blackhand.
