Ok im a Mo/Me but after properly reading everyone's comments in this forum...i am having a tough time deciding if Me is the way to go...seems like Mo/W or Mo/Anything seems better...pretty much i need a build/class to make enough from farming to keep with expenses and eventually buy better armor.
any comments and opinions welcomed.

honestly, it all depends on what your wanting to accomplish .... I find that 600 is faster and with the build I use, it doesnt matter what your secondary is. Then again, you have to be sure that the area you are farming is high enough and deal enough damage, if not, you might wanna check out a 55 :) it all depends on the area you are trying to farm :) 600 seems to be safer from what I have been noticing. But its personal preference

600 is better for high lvl areas that do tons of dmg with no degen
55 is good for anything without anything that removes enchants

how do you reach 600? I just finished my first every 55 monk with canthan 1.5k armors and I did start practicing at augury rock with them hydra's first I keep dieing even though I turn on prot spirit and healing breeze then I realize I can't use them both together :P
So now what is this 600 ?

Ill try to write a guide of it in not to long :) its really simple, logical and effective! if your online some time, add me to your friends (IGN = Tor Den Mektige) and ill give ya a rundown of it on the trolls outside droks :)

I use protective spirit and healing breeze at the same time with my 55 and farm hydras. You just have to activate healing breeze inbetween the knockdowns. Its the same as the giants outside of the troll cave.
I personally like the 55 better than the 600 but thats only cause I can farm more creatures without worry of their level and you die with either build till you learn how to use them but the 55 does cost a bit more, so its just pretty much up to whatever you feel will fit what you want to do best.

There is NO differance between a 55 and a 600 the person that made the 600 must be laughing his/her @$$ off because all they did was change the Armor/Health ratio. Nothing really impressive.

Your right and wrong that is pretty much all they changed but there is a difference cause with the 600 the baddies have to be a high enough level to do enough damage to keep you alive where a 55 the creatures can be any level you jus have to make sure not to lose protective spirit because unlike the 600, with a group beating on you, if you lose the enchantment you dead where you can take a couple more hits with the 600 and have a change to get protective spirit back up.

55 and 600 each have their pros and cons. 600s are easier to play (IMO) as when you get interupted you aren't comletely screwed since you have more health and therefore a longer time to react to the interupt.
As for your secondary it depends on what you are doing. If you are soloing I almost always go mesmer so I can bring SoJ and Arcane echo. In an area where there are a lot of interupting mesmers or rangers you might want to go with a mesmer secondary so you can run mantra of resolve. In UW and for troll farming the Mo/W has become popular due to bonetties defense. This does 2 things
1 energy regen if you are running a Protective bond build
2 if they can't hit you they can't interupt you.
There is also a Mo/E build using sliver armor that is great for taking out bosses.
So as you can see there are many option and it come down to what you want to accomplish. There are guides for most of these posted on this site

yes, there is a difference between 55s and 600s ... that difference would be that 55s rely on small dmg and high hp regen, where the 600s rely on medium damage and bigger burst healings. Long story short, what keeps them alive is COMPLETELY different, even though its just 2 skills off :D

actualy its incredibly impressive
reason 1: you can loose ps and w/e and still ahve time to recast, while still living
reason 2: how many 55`s do you here soloing the uw?
reason3: if a 55 drops ps or hb, its dead in an instance

I know a lot of 55s that solo UW there are several guids for it.

bah imo, soloing uw takes to long, there is so much risk attached to it as well. Either way, two dieing nightmares spawn and you are screwed so just save yourself some time and grief and dual uw.
with that being said: i would still like to see the build for soloing uw with 55.

A great debate...
I have a 55 necro and 55 monk/mes and a spirit bond monk/mes. I don't call it a 600 because there is no need to have 600hp and i never do. The secondary of the spirit bond monk doesn't make a difference as you shouldn't have any skill slots open. I keep mes as secondary so I can use my monk as a echo healer it waorks nicely. When it comes to the soloing aspect I find there are many more places you can solo as a 55. i.e UW(yes its easyer with a good 55 build) hydras minotores trolls giants stone kirin (not sure about spelling there) wardens of all types, and there are many bosses I farm in factions with it as well. I even solo the Nahpui Quarter mission with my 55 necro all the time. Now for the spirit bond monk, strangly I dont really solo anywhere with her. I find that even though I have high HP my super low AL doesnt leave me with any real time to react. So I changed the build a bit and now use spellbreaker as my elite. and she makes an awsome tank and if you have a good SS it makes UW farming a snap nothing can touch you. So I geuss for me I love my 55 necro or monk for soloing. any questions on builds my IGN is arthurian legend.

The not impressive part is how great a breack through this was. Any idiot could of thought gez I bet if I had a lot of health and low armor, I could make an other solo build.
Its all just porpartions and ratios.
Also once again 600 gets big heals, while 55 get small heals. That equals a ratio. The type of monsters they fight is the only real thing thats different from the two.

so what ur saying is that anybody could ahve thought this up. well if ANYBODY culd ahve then why didnt they?
edit: o ya, and ian, 55`s and 600s do alot of dmg, so im being polite in saying dont say things when you dont know about the build because i know for a fact you dont have a 55 or 600 at all, thus you wouldnt know the build as well as the people who do ahve them

It depends on the 55 build if you use zealouts fire and SoJ you can do alot of dmg as long as you keep you casts 2 seconds apart.

I believe what he meant by small dmg, is the 55 TAKES small amounts of dmg.
