| So what archtype are you? |

I'm curious (if by some magical happenstance, mutative agent, medical/scientific breakthrough, whatever) what Archtype would you be?
I tend to like tanks and I think that's what I would have to be. I'm a big guy, to say the least, and was one of those kids that got picked on before I realized "I am bigger". And rather than becoming a bully, I tended to stand up for those who really couldn't (now if you brought it on yourself, sorry you was just out of luck).
I have, when the occasion arives in the game, choosen to "take one for the team." Generally it is when a fight just isn't going the way we planned, and seeing as how its usually the tanks job to hold the aggro, stay behind in the fight so that the others can get to a safe distance even if it means sacrafising myself. And to me that is what being a hero is all about. And as a tank, sticking up for the little guy, just makes it all worth it.

I've always been one to dive right in and pull my friends out of trouble. I also have a 4th dan in aikido. On the other hand, I never look for a fight, I'm never the first to attack when I find one and I fight to restrain rather than to harm my opponents. I'm not really a scrapper nor a tanker.
I'm well trained in the use of various military weapons and can do considerable damage with them when I must. On the other hand, I think of that as a last resort, so I'm not really a blaster.
I am far too usefull in the middle of a fight and useless behind the scenes, so I'm not a controller.
I'm just not a villain at all, so we rule out all those right away.
That leaves defender. I would be a Defensive Martial Arts / Assault Rifle Defender. When can I play one in CoH?

Pretty much have a tank way about everything. 6'4" 238lbs, Bullheaded when I know I'm right, or when it comes to people or things I care about. Great sometimes, bad others, but we are who we are. In game I love tanking, so much that I tank with my Controller, I tank with my Warshade and Peacebringer, even with my Defenders ( they uhh, tend to have a bit of debt to show for it, ha )

I think i would be a Mind Dominator. For one i like to be in controll and two because for some strange reason, i get some sort of pleasure from messing with people's minds and having them follow your command and when those i'm toying with see through my veil of deception and come after me i can tear away at their mind with a few psychic blasts and a mind probe.

I would have to say I'm a blaster. Crossbow, throwing knives, bow and arrow, they're all made for distance (well, not really the knives). Also, I tend to try to stay a ways back from fights, until thats not possible.. But honestly, if I could choose an AT to be, I would want to be a tanker, even if it doesnt really "fit".

I'm a scrapper I like to pick the fight, show-off a bit but not take all the heat. Being Close Range was the thing I always like to do. For some reason I like to be damage dealing squishy but then I like to be Invul (Oxymoron). Superspeed has always intetested me fighting at superspeed is always cool

I'm a scrapper that doesn't play around. I take the first swing for the upper hand in the fight. If i start to get low health and my oppoent is beating on me pretty good, my anger explodes into MoG and i don't feel much pain anymore. Once it kicks in my enemy has no chance and the fights over. Unless of course there psychic, :) then thats a different story.

I am definitely a defender.
My reasoning?
I am a whimp. I will do about anything to avoid confrontation.
Although blood and guts make me want to plant my face in the dirt, I hate to see people in pain or trouble when I can do something to help them.
I'm not much of a leader, but am happiest when I can be part of a group and feel as though my job is important to the group.
Besides, the light is so pretty...
