I only use it for this:
Benefit - Eye of the Magus (toggle power):
+Resistance to all but psionics
+Defense against all but psionics
-speed
-recharge
-accuracy
Because it goes good with MoG.

thhis kind of a little swerve on the topic, but I would luv to have a way to use your SG rank (personally I like to change the defaults when I create SG's) as the hovered title along with your name.
Imagine how cool that would be on SG get togethers, or perhaps the positive implications for recruiting and so on and so on.
Sorry this isn't exactly the topic at hand but the thread brought it to mind :)

It does indeed! MoG + Archmage = God Mode!
Without MoG, the penalties hurt a bit more. You forgot to mention the reason why I'm not drooling over this power - 25 min recharge and no way to slot it.

It you could get custom titles that way, we wouldn't need to stand in long lines to get them from Manticore. He would have more time to spend doing Statesman's dirty work for him.

if that were the case, i mwould be sooo tempted to make my own SG simply to have my own special ranking. Like

Yeah but see they could do it and torment you....
like the title would only be avilible in SG mode..
or
they would make a pool of names that would limit your choices of rank names.....

MoG is short for "Moment of Glory", but it stands for any power that makes you just about indestructible for abouttwo minutes or however long. MoGs will always leave you drained of all End and most health when it wears off.

It doesn't drain end but it does make it so you cant recover life for about 30 seconds after.
