| Nee help, spirit bonder vs avecieras |

Hello, i've just started to try farm trolls outside droknar with spiritbonder. I can kill all the trolls without any probs, but the avecieras keep killing me, i can only get to trolls if avicaras spawn far away, can anyone can help me with this?
I use the armor from shing jea with minior smite, prot, divine and a major vigor,

Its spelled Avicara.
And as far as I know, Spirit Bonder has a hard time w/ avicara as they dont do enough dmg per hit to properly heal you. The only way I have heard of it being possible is if you take something like Frenzy so you take extra dmg, therefore activating your Spirit Bond.
You could also take some run skill and just hope for the best as you attempt to run past them.

Hmm, I always find Mo/W with sprint is always helpful. I suggest u drop the Retribution and switch Sprint.

I find the best way to get past them is to use armor lowering skills.
My suggestion is to drop Essence Bond. Instead try using Frenzy, Elemental Resistance, or even Healing Signet.
The problem is that the Avicara don't high high enough to trigger Spirit Bond.

I would sugguest Mo/R with storm chaser as you CAN increase its attribute AND you get energy every time the dual-shot ignite arrows avicara hit you. I dont run Spirit Bond, but I do 55 sometimes, and I can usually walk away from the avicara's with nearly full energy.

i would suggest essence bond for sprint to run past them. sometimes you just get a realy bad spawn where there is loads of avicara at the entrance and you just can't make it through. To make sure you can get through you could take healing signet or phisical resistance (avicara use elemental damage, not 100% sure) to kill them, but i think thats a waste of time and that its faster and easyer to just zone and get a new spawn.
Btw if you want to make troll farming a bit faster switch out blessed signet for zealots fire. it should help killing them a bit faster, its also good if 1 troll is still alive at the end with a small bit of life and SoJ is recharging. You can just use PS and SB to kill him. (if you are going to take zealots fire make sure not to use skills to faster after the other or you wil make them run away).
EDIT: maybe you don't know this and have taken the minor runes because there alot cheaper, but you can just use superior runes to boost your atributes more, there more expensive but i think its worth the money. a while farming trolls and you should have enough for them since they became alot cheaper then they where before.

actually any running skills will do, I just prefer Sprint coz I'm lazy to change profession. My Monk's mostly Mo/W so w/e running skill is fine. :)

Yeah I think he may be confused with a 55 monk. High health is essential to this build. Lower health means less Retribution, less resistance to degen effects, and more dangerous during interruptions. I've had both Protective Spirit, and Spirit Bond interrupted before, but stayed alive (barely) with Divine Favor bonuses, and high health.
Anyway, even with a run skill the Avicara can still kill you. Some spawns will be right next to the cave, and they will follow you in. Elemental Resistance lowers your armor to physical attacks by 24 so really any hit you take should trigger Spirit Bond. Frenzy doubles the damage (which triggers Spirit Bond), but it only lasts a couple seconds, so you will have to recast Frenzy, and Spirit Bond bringing you dangerously close to 0 energy.

I just used a wammo build for trolls.
Cyclone axe, gladz def, bonetties def, shield stance, sprint, vigerous spirit, mending, healing breeze.
its used by alot but hey, it works.

With my build, I dont need 4 energy regen so i ONLY go out with shing jea smite head tat and ascetics boots. 1 out of 8 hits not healing you can be dealt with.

i prefer using a 55 build vs. trolls and avacara. the build i use allows for fairly easy fights against some avacara groups in talus chute. im going to make a guild later for it so ill post the link here when i do.
but in short, you have to be able to manage energy very well. you make urself m/me and carry echo+soj+blessed aura+20% echant weapon to give you continuous SoJ protection. after you lay down everything, all you have to do is stay alive (easy part lol) and the group will just kill its self in under a minute. just gotta be careful with the fierce since they do like 4 attacks at once (dual shot+other preps) so itll bring ur health precariously low. on the up side, dual shot = 2xSoJ :)

mmm guess uve never gotten +30hp sword pommels and axe hafts, 20/20 sword, perf gold drops, and black dye from farming, not to mention chests.
trolls are fun to do because its fast and something to do while europe has favor.

I believe that if you take out retribution and stick in elemental resistance you can take the avicara.

I have an easy solution that doesnt require switching any skills
do all the standard enchants and agro both trolls and avicara, they trolls give ya the damage enough for spirit bond and the avicaras give you the energy
Problem sorted :)
