| How do you get Non-Hazard zone Beacon badges? |
|
|
|
In one SG I'm in, I've noticed our teleporters now go to Atlas Park, Talos Island, and Peregrine Island. I thought it might be for collecting all the exploration badges in those zones, but in my own SG, someone unlocked King's Row and Galaxy City. My personal toon for my SG has all the exploration badges for the above mentioned places (except Peregrine) so that must not be the way to get them. Any help?

It is linked to the exploration badges of a specific zone. All you have to do is to visit the location of each exploration badge in the zone while in SG mode. It can be difficult if you already have the badges, b/c then you just have to "guess" if it's there or not. The best idea would probably be to make a new character, a WS possibly, and just to go get the badges while in SG mode.
As i said, if you've already got them, just swing by each spot for each badge in that zone, while in SG mode.

Great info, been wondering about this, as I've seen bases with the Atlas TP and wondered where that came from, cool.

You can get the new beacons (as well as the old ones) without making a new toon. Just revisit each badge in SG mode.
You don't really have to guess whether you're close enough, either. There is a badge marker that looks about the same as the exploration badge icon in your personal info screen. I only know of one badge that doesn't have this marker in plain sight - Whitecap.

Hi Solarix, welcome to GameAmp! Great to have you around. And don't worry about n00bness. We'll beat that out of you soon enough :) To post a new topic, go to the main forum page. You get there by either selecting "CoH Forums" from the top left "COMMUNITY" bubble, or by clicking on "more posts" right under the 5 latest posts. Now from the main forum page select a relevent section (like "general discussion" or "off topic"). And from there you should see a "New Topic" button on the top right. Looking forward to you new topic :)

Exactly! I started in COH with one SG that folded when the founder quit days after starting the group. I'd gone out and collected the Exploration badges and picked up the beacons for Atlas, Galaxy, Steel Canyon, Skyway, King's Row and Boomtown before I jumped to my current (and much better SG). Over there they already had some of those beacons but were missing Steel Canyon, Skyway and Boomtown... I went back to the same spots I'd found with the help of the badge section here at GameAmp and in each zone once I crossed over the spot of that final badge in the zone (POOF) we had another marker.
Since then the Founder and I teamed up, him armed with TP and me with the locations and also collected Talos Island, and Indepenance Port and I soloed and picked up Faultline. Other members have picked up the Hollows, Perez, and Peregrin. I just hit 25 with my scrapper and my next project is the badges and the Beacon for Croatoa.
No one member has to collect all of the badges for every zone but 1 member should collect all of the ones for A zone and has to be in SG mode while doing it. First, 2nd or 20th time over the spot doesn't matter once they've visited all the location in that zone the Sg gets a new marker.
