Dark Servant

Im getting closer by the day to getting my dark servant to add to my arsenal. I was wondering how to slot him. I know he comes with an inherent accuracy bonus and was hoping its enough to not add to him? I plan on adding at least one each of the "effect" enhancements.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That's basically the route I took. I added one of each (and maybe a couple of recharges and end red). I have Assault and Tactics so there is another acc and dam bonus he'll recieve. I really wanted to make sure he was slotted for debuff, immob and heal.

Give him 3 recharges and at least one heal and an Accuracy or two for maximum efficiency.

I luv my dark servant. I slotted him 1 immobilse, 1 hold & 1 accuracy. He seems to do the job right but everyones different.

I don't have mine yet, so take that into consideration, but my reading thus far seems to indicate that 3-slotting recharge will make the DS a more or less permanent pet for you (perhaps others here can confirm this?).

Again, I'm not the expert, but if the DS is as good as I've read, then 3 SO recharges is probably an extremely good way to slot things for maximum benefit.

Beyond that, I'm sure there are plenty of good choices.

What powers does he do because I'm a few levels away from him and need to know if some of my Dark powers I still need or can get away without using.

Darkest night
Teneberous tentacles
Petrifing gaze
Twilight graps

Umm is that it?

You missed Chill of the Night. That's a PBAoE -Acc power that gives -30% Accuracy within a couple feet of him.

And Stryker, he has approximately one attack that does damage, which is Tenebrous Tentacles, a Cone Immob -Acc power. But if you think as soon as you get it it's going to be nuking away all the enemies, you're wrong. Don't even slot damage in it. The Dark Servant is about Control, not Attack.

And, additionally, it has Darkest Night, as Hell has said. This power is an AoE power which gives -30% to all damage done by enemies in the surrounding area, as well as a ToHit debuff. Combined with Chill of the Night, which gives a -30% ToHit, enemies are probably not going to be able to hit you at all. Also, both of these ToHit Debuffs ignore Enhancements, so if you slot it for ToHit Debuff, you'll only affect the -Acc from its other attacks (one of which is Twilight Grasp, a Heal which gives -Regen to the target, very useful).

As yes chill of the night, how could i have forgoten, dispite the fact that it is practically the same Darkest Night but it does minor DoT dark damage

Id agree with not slotting it with power, but still acc (as chill of the night CAN miss, infact they all can execpt darkest night)

Id say 3 recharge, 1 immob, 1 accuracy and 1 hold (those are my intentins anyways)
