1) pretty close. It is build around the 3.5 rule set, but it does have some changes. Though the core is mostly the same.
2) Nope, no druids, at least not at the moment.
3)It is pay to play, around $15 american a month. And the game is around $29 at gamestops, at least when I got my coppy it was.

I'm a long time D&D gamer, and the game is core 3.5e D&D. SO, humans, elves, dwarves, fighters, paladins, rogues, bugbears, hobgoblins, kobolds, fireball, magic missile, cure light wounds, crunchy D&D stuff. It is modified for MMO play, so you have extra hitpoints and magic functions on a points system. The best part is a lot of D&D guys are playing.

No, no druids yet, but the setting is Eberron and druids are even more exceptionally rare there. As they are continuing to add content, I'm hopeful that higher level quests will involve the gatekeepers, and add druid classes to the game.| QUOTE | 3)is there a monthly payment and how much dose the game cost

It's like $15 a month, standard fair.

One of the big differences is that the monsters have inflated hit points and saves. Builds that work in PnP might have some trouble in DDO and vice versa. There are a lot of places with build recommendations, GameAmp being one. Ten Ton Hammer also does some good ones. Check them out here:

Best of luck!
