Lol...yea i need to level him...i just got it and killed some spiders,then 1 wolf outside Ashford and he was level 4.
So then i thought lets share this moment =P

I think you need a W/mo or mo/w to help you charm it. You use hammer bash and bane signet to kd the bear whilst he is using break charm

You need 2 people to charm a bear do it like this
1. Dont have gwen for some reason it messes this up
2. Go out of Foble's ( I think its been a while) into wizards, make left clear out any elements that are there.
3. the person who is charming stay back (the bear should be right on the outside edge of your aggro circle). Let other person aggro bear.
4. When you see the bear use brutal mauling cast charm animal. Right as you do this the other person need to run directly away from you. The bear will follow and try to cast break charm but he is too way for it to work. You now have a bear. It may take a minute or 2 for him to follow. Grats hope this helps

Johnny is correct
However it may take MANY tries so bring plenty of patience
and also, DONT shoot/attack the bear or it will be hard to get aggro back on the "runner"
