When you have a bow with say "Lengthens crippled duration by 33%" is that for just attacks (Marksmanship) or does it mean when a trap or pet causes crippling as well?

I'd be inclined to guess that it means that any effects caused by the BOW to cause cripple, bleeding, dazed, poison etc will be effected by the mod ONLY. A trap or pet attack doesn't relate to the bow so is unlikely to be affected by it. That's my educated guess.

Thats what I think too but would be nice to know for sure. I am use to wands and staffs where it pretty much effects skill you do.

| QUOTE | | A crippling weapon will not only lengthen the crippled condition inflicted by the weapon itself, but also crippled conditions caused by skills (for example Illusion of Haste + Plague Sending combo, which lengthens the crippled condition both on causing it, and again on sending it, resulting in 77% longer crippling). |
Straight from the mouth of Guildwiki. So I would say that it works for traps and pet skills.
Says that for all the other similar mods like Barbed.

It only effects the bow attacks, not pet or other attacks. I have tried it and, from what I could tell, there was no extension to duration.
Edit: though I did not test it on traps. Hmmm.....maybe it does.

I stand corrected - that's pretty sweet.

Sounds like it does truly affect all crippling which makes me pretty happy. Now I just have to decide do I want to lengthen crippled, bleeding, or deep wound.
Since it is my thread, is there such a thing as a Longbow of Beast Mastery?
I now know there is only a Marksmanship requirement for bows, I was just wondering if there was Beast Mastery suffix mod?
Also, feel free to give proof either way if you find anything about the original question.
