Hello all, I've just ordered this game and wondering about the servers, Will i be playing with people from all over the world, or just people from my country?(im english).
Im also abit confused about the magic classes. What is counted as "black Magic"? is that all the elemental magic, i.e Fire/ice/wind like in FFXI or is it like Poisons and curses?
also what sort of magic do Elves use? (not dark elves)

If u are english u should choose betwen franz and teon the euro servers.Franz is the newest but if u join teon i can invite u at my clan when u hit lv 19:)
As dark magic are considered the curses,as u said.

black magic are skills or magic that weakens the foe's status such us curses(poison,curse:weakness) or magic that absorb opponent's HP or MP (Vampiric Claw and Vampiric Touch).

The elven element is water. that means that water resistance is greater than the other races' and you deal more damage when using water magic/skills.
The dark elven element is wind. wind resistance and wind dmg dealt>than the other races
