i'm sick of everybody always calling each other the respective hateful names in AB such as fuxons or kurdicks, for god's sakes ppl it's just a game, there's no need to get all butt-hurt about it god i remember today earlier i was in an AB and there were some of my teamates making fun of the kurzicks, and i remember that a big verbal war started, i know we're all warring sides and all but thats too much, i do talk my own kind of smack, but i dont go that far into saying kurdicks or etc etc

my personal favorite is when they call you a suxxon or kurdick and you're all the way into their territory at their 'easiest to win for them unless they're mentally challenged' base map.
but yea, there's no need for that kind of nonsense in the local chat in AB other than GG, HF, Good Luck, Next Time, or any other kind of classy chit-chat.

i just love how also anytime a toucher kills a warrior they are a noob buttom masher, and how even though i find it hard to type while trying to win, all these ppl manage to type the entire game, and somehow blame others when they don't win. and for the record, i went luxon for the armor, and it was easier to spell at first. i wasn't born luxon and i didn't get any tattoos its a game ahve fun, great post, we needed it. stop hattin'!!!

I dont hate at all i fight for both sides. It was funny though cause i switched half way through the day and partied with someone i'd fought earlier they didn't trust me at all :(
This wait to start an AB is killing me i've been waiting for like 5 min.

Yes, the insults get wrose and worse in AB. But there is nothing we can do about it. Complaining about it will not fix it. Just turn off All-Chat, that's what I do. :) I often tell the oposing team, good luck, just trying to be nice, all I am. For the most part, the opposing team is nice, but you do have those few. And those get added to teh hit list. Just ask Everdream. :)

IMHO toucher's will always be non-skilled noobs, because all u have to do is press 4-5 buttons

I thought about trying toucher but my sin only gets use in ABs so i left UW to my ranger and ABs to my assassin.
BTW still waiting for my AB to start

yes Kanna, i know all about horrible local chat conduct in alliance battles. it's unfortunate that i find myself being tugged at so hard to be lowered to their level. i've never stooped to player bashing in AvA, though i will say things like. "it must be a pain being blind all the time" when i'm facing a war or a sin.
best one lately was at Grenz, this one war wanted to 1-v-1 this ranger on our side and i said i'll 1-v-1 him because i'd just previously mopped up on his Frenzy skill, he replied "nah, i'm not stupid" and we gave eachother winks.
so, i guess there are smart and stupid ways of bothering the other side. usually joking is my nature and i'll find myself in hilarious (positive) PM convo's with members from the oppisate side after the match.
and i've been called plenty of names before, but i think it's all in good fun, the best was "bastard ele uses blind" i took it as a compliment as i spammed another blinding flash on him. lol.

Anywho, yeah, the insulting is kinda stupid, it's just a game, and people take the alliance thing too seriously(*cough*faction farmers*cough*)

At first i was a bit annoyed with things like "PWNED CHOO NOOB!!" and "PWND" and "NOOB" and "CHOO" and all the other combinations.
But after i thought about it for a long time i realized something.. this behavior has existed before GW in MMOs and even before MMOs in general.. it exists at work, at school, everywhere where there is some form of social ladder. At work you have the bosses insulting workers to keep their morale low so the positions of the bosses are never threatened, at school you have the big kids making fun of the smaller ones.. so really this behavior is too deep rooted in society for it to not be present in MMOs.. so the only thing you can do is not contribute to it.. other than that fighting it is like poking a 1st grader with a stick..sooner or later he's gonna bite you.
