The Shadow Stalkers is a fairly new SuperGroup created in July of 2006 on the Infinity Server. Visit our web site at: http://www.freewebs.com/vasflam/
We are new compared to many but growing very quickly and already have earned a place on the Top 100 list. Our base is Arcane in nature with Teleporters (2) to four loactions in Paragon City .. before you balk at this "limitation" let me say this. We have coalitions with numerous other SuperGroups and have free access to those bases. That means our members can go to their bases and use their teleporters as well. This has saved each group from having to spend prestige to build huge TP room (saving that prestige for other items that can and will assist you in your climb up the levels).
We have a med bay for healing, saving that trip to the hospital. Salvage, Inspiration and enhancement storage bins along with all of the usual items needed to control and power the base. That Med Bay and Inspiration storage unit come in very handy when your on a TF and don't have access to buy fresh inspirations. You just got killed.. go to the Base, not the hospital to heal. While you're there pick up new inspirations and then use the portal to wind up back at the entrance to your mission.
Super Group Colors ... White and Black
Super Group Costume ... Yes it was voted on at our first meeting that all members will have one of their 4-5 costumes created in a design we determine. So do you have to wear it constantly? NO It's mainly for use at meetings (we have a weekly meeting at 9:30 PM EST that is open to all members along with any interested members from our coalitions). The plan is also to wear it any time we schedule an SG event... an all SG TF or Trial A party at Pocket D, etc. Aside from that you can wear any of the other costumes you please while your out there fighting villians. NOTE: Because we are well aware that lower level players have only 1 open costume slot and very limited influence no one is expected to redesign their original costume. Once you reach level 20 and acquire the right to that 2nd one... then create you SG costume. Or 30 or 40 depending on what level you are when you join.
ArchTypes: While there are numerous SG(s) that accept only 1 type from membership (Tankers Only or Scrappers Only) We accept all types. This means if your preparing for a Task Force there is a good chance you can find a good Scraper (that would be me), Tanker, Controller, Etc... without having to take pot luck by broadcasting for help and taking whovever is available and responds to your request.
Level Restrictions: We have none and take anyone from level 1 to Level 50. Because we have grown so fast, and until COH supposedly changes the retsriction on size from 75 members to 75 member accounts, we have had a number of members split off to form the Shadow Stalker Academy. This is a home for any and all of your alt characters that belong, along with a home for additional members since we are very close to our 75 member limit. Of course SS Academy is one of our coalition partners and many members belong to both (myself included)
Benefits of belonging: We are a very active group and on any given night you will see a host of our members on line playing (finding team mates is relatively easy). Add our coalition partners and at almost every level you can contact and team with good people who know and enjoy the game. Experience... New to COH? Welcome and if you have questions I gaurentee we have some one who has been through that situation and has the answer. We can easily talk you through everything from finding History Plaques, Exploration Badges, or the toughest TF or Trial.
Style of Play: Unrestricted. Some SG(s) are looking for nothing but people that want to go to Bloody Bay, Siren's Cal, Warburg, and Recluses Victory to engage in Player Versus Player (PVP). Others only accept PVE (player vs computer/server) and others specialize in everything from TF(s) and Trials to .. whatever! We accept any style of play and we realize everyone has a life outside of COH. We want, we need, active players but no one here expects you to be online every night for 4-6 hours. Play when you can, play what you like .. play in SG mode so you earn us the prestige we need to make YOUR base better and we are perfectly happy.
