i havent posted here for a long time.. well quite a while at least. ive been thinking about buying factions since i never did even tho i play WoW now. before i do i wana know if they made it fairer about the controlling cities and whatnot and those um... places only the people who controlled major cities could go into with the best items and stuff available to everyone?
to download all the updates i missed it wil take me at least 2 hours which is why i dont know but any updates on stuff i missed could be helpful :)
OH! edit ~ i just realised that i must have leveled up on the site at least 3 times even tho i posted nothing since now i have some 1500 credit and im a doppleganger ( woot! )
which... is preety funny lol

Welcome back Zirgey, I just got back also, although not from WoW, lol. In any case, id recommed waiting for Nightfll since its gonna be out in about a month, with it coming out there may be very few on Factions untill the hype dies down.

Yeah, you wont have rit or assassin and you of course cant get them in Nightfall. Nightfll is only the Dervish and Paragon + Core professions + New Core skills. If you really wnat an assassin or ritualist you'll have to get Factions. Not really sure what the deal is with Elite missions anymore and i know they opened up pretty much everywhere except Vizunah Square Local and Foreign Quarters to everyone.

A few corrections Immunis:
The article in PC Gamer magazine confirmed that there will in fact be new assassin and ritualist skills in nightfall, but if you do not have factions, you will not have access to them, as they are factions only characters, you will not be able to create an assassin or ritualist in Nightfall.
Also, they have done nothing about the elite missions. There was an event one weekend in which they were opened to everyone, but other than that, nothing. Still, it is rather easy to find a ferry into them, some require tips, but the size is still of your choosing. If you don't think the service is worth anything, give a small tip. Other than that, it is possible to access every single area of the game. The noob island is now open, but only the primary missions. Factions characters can walk right into Vizunah Foreign Quarter, and Prophecies characters can accompany a factions character on the quest to get to Vizunah Local to get that map point.

Thanx for the corrections mate, been out of the loop for a bit, and the last i heard there werent any new skills for assassin or rit to be added. Glad to hear there will be, lot of my friends will be especially glad to hear that, lol.
