When you hold and aim a Spear, the Spear is facing the right direction (sharp end towards target), but when the Spear leaves your hand, it flies backwards.
I wonder if it's just when wielded by Warriors, as I hold it like a sword still until I begin throwing?

I noticed this too when running while holding a spear. My warrior was holding it backwards =\ I didnt check to see if she threw it backwards like that as I was literally out the door to go to work this morning x). I'll have a look again tonight when I get home.
Might I add, the pre-release spear and scythe look sweet ^-^ Can't wait for Nightfall.

LOL - if so, good thing that they didn't do the same thing for swords and Swordsmanship.

I gotta say it would be awesome if the less points you had into the mastery of that weapon, the more crazily you would flail it around. And the more points you had, the more accurate and non-clumsy your actions with it would be :D hahaha
as for the bug ... wow, hope anet fixes it b4 release :P

Another flaw IMO is the way cast spears magically disappear and then reappear in the combatant's hands. (Happens with other objects too, but with the spears it irks me somewhat.) Luckily, the animation flaw you mentioned is easily fixed. Have you reported it yet?

same with arrows lol and the meteors that fall halfway out of the sky, ahh and must not forget the shields that magically float next to your hand and not in ur hands ...gg anet :D

Nope, I usually just post stuff like that here, we have ANet visitors who browse the forums looking for suggestions bugs and fixes...

I have a question, I bought the pre-order bonus pack and added the key for the spear/sythe and extra char slot on my excisting acocunt. But i didnt get the spear and all, what did I do wrong??? ty for the help, i got the bonusitems and im glad i typed it while playing with my main char cause they are costumized.

Well, even though the spear is thrown the wrong side too his foe -except if yo uwant to bumb his head- the action performing the throw is very flued.
