There will be more than just the bird-like feather wings I hope..... Insect wings, bat wings, etc....

Do we know if we will be able to change the color of the wings. I would assume colors would be an option, but of course all examples I have seen up to now have been white for the angel wings.

Those Veteran Rewards are such a crappy way to do it. I let my account go inactive this past month because my credit card was freuded and I had banking issues. Now because of that, I'm not a "veteran" in their eyes?! I preordered CoH for godsakes. Where's the consideration for those people?

The time accumulates through lapses as well. So...

If you were active in December 04, let it run for 4 months, discontinued it for 3 months, started it up again for 5 months and then stopped again and just restarted it, you would have 9 months of "vet" status. Basically, all of the months you paid for on your account add up.

So I'll have...(does quick math)...21 months on September 24th. I signed up on December 24th, 2004.

As I understand it Vince, once you reactivate your account you'll get all your rewards. The time you've paid for is all that matters. If you let your account lapse, or in your case had to let it go because of card problems, once you reactivate your account you get the rewards due for the total number of months your had an active account, regardless of having a "break" in activate status.

Am I wrong?

Thats what they said about capes, and we got short capes and long capes.

I (and lots of people on the main boards) are thinking it will be large wings and small wings.

that does look intersting. shoot i cant even remember when i started playing CoH. i know i started playing when I4 had come out and i do think i have deactivated my account once for a while when money was short but ive been playing again.

AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!
Starts looking for a real job again to get a 1 or 2 gig stick of ram for my computer. My computer can hardly run this game without some lag. just putting more stuff that will lag some computers out.

I would say 6 to 9 months since the trench coats are the 3 month reward. I think the wings would be the 9 month reward in an attempt to get people to subscribe longer...but then that poses the question: What is the 6 month reward?

Since they say they have already set the rewards for the first 3 years and the game will have been around more than 2 1/2 years by the time we see the rewards, that means it could be as late as the 30 month reward and we would still see wings the first day. I hope it's not as early as the 6 month reward for one reason.

I predict that by New Years Day these wings will be better known as "lag flappers."
