I'm aligned with Kurzicks, but I'm trying to explore around the Luxon side looking for elites, but I can't get in or past the hatchery since I'm not a friend of the luxons. Is there anywhere I can BUY faction points (as an NPC implies) to get the 10,000 I need so I don't need to do luxon quests and fight for them?

Simply....no you can't buy faction points, you need to earn them by quests or ava.

no such luck my friend you either have to do compettetive missions, Allaince battles, or quests
on the plus side AB is alot of fun and you get atleast 50 faction each game no matter what (about 1250 if you win) and its pretty easy!
Look forward to seeing you in AB you dirty fuxon ^^

Be careful with your language. There are younger gamers on this forum. Also, i think its pretty sad how ppl care so much about which faction they are allied to

Actually, you CAN buy factions points, but it's extremely expensive.
If you go outside of a Luxon controlled town, there is usually a Rez shrine with 2 Luxon Warriors, a Luxon Merchant and a Luxon Priest...same goes for the Kurzick side. If you have a little chat with the Priest, he'll allow you to buy 10 Luxon Faction for 50g. I've used that trick several times when I couldn't access a merchant. All you need is more of one faction than the other, so if you have 0 of each and buy 10 Faction, you can access the NPC's in a town.
If you decide to try to buy all the Faction you need to do a "Befreiending" quest, it'll cost you 50k. Not really worth it in my opinion, but that's up to you.
EDIT: Actually, it might cost more like 100k because I don't think the priest will continue to sell you Faction points if you currently have more faction for their side at the time. So, what you'd have to do is buy 10 Faction from one, then map to a different area and buy 10 Faction from the other. You'd have to keep doing that until you have the necessary 10,000 Faction for the "Befriending" quest you're trying to do.

usly if I need a quick 100 or so faction from another I just go out and do a rez thing or do a quick faction quest.
I don't mind people being all for the faction they want such as kurzick or luxon but being rude or disrepectful to the other side is just not called for.. the guild I am is kurzick and sometimes I travel to luxon side to help friends out who are luxon. Sometimes I have seen luxons just cuss me out in town because I ware kurzick armor and some are like hi and wave and ask how I am doing. It is the persons attitude in real life that wil fit the players character attitude. Each of my character has a different personality built from my own.. Loudish or quite.

Blah I don't get the Trans-faction hatred either, I fight for the Kurzicks, but I wear Luxon armour, and I play with anyone regardless of faction.

Come on people do any of you understand a rivalry. There are rivalry's in sports all the time. They give each other a hard time and a lot of people had fun ribbing each other back and forth. The people that take it too far and come off as rude and reall horses a$%es are typically that type of person in real life anyway so why would we expect differently in a game.
But for most of us we are just having a bit of fun and poking fun at each other fully expecting to get it back in return. Some people need to quit taking things so pesonally and learn to laugh at the situation (and themselves) when someone makes fun. The jabs don't truly mean you hate the other person.

Everyone needs rivalry, it gives you a sense of fighting for something.
