Holy cow! Does this mean we WON'T have to get a travel power anymore????

That would be pretty awesome to be able to get 2 extra powers on my alts, and be able to move around faster at lower levels too!!!!!

I think I'd like to hear a little bit more about these new items before I invest the $10. Yeah...I'll probably buy them either way, but it goes against principle to not know what I'm investing in beforehand.

The thing that really drew me to this is, 10$ for coh AND cov. i could purchase 2, and have a second account with all the stuff up to I7. SO most likely i will buy 2, im almost full on guardian, and dont really see myself switching servers EVER.
now the jump jet, from what ive read you wouldnt want to skip out on travel powers. It lasts 30 seconds with a 150 second recharge. Not that great for travel, it will help out whatever travel you have tho, and im sure it will be a great asset to the low levels who cant get a travel until 14 or so.

I can see this being very benificial to the superspeed heroes that need to get up and over some of those large walls in skyway, and holes in boomtown and faultline. Like it said, it is a nice compliment to the current travel powers.

Well, hey, is it slottable? Cuz 150 seconds with 3 recharges on it and hasten and that baby is perma with no downtime...

I don't think you can slot "temp" powers, killer. Of course, there's never any telling with new updates.

If it's treated like the Prestige Power Slide, then it will be slottable. If not, it won't. If it's slottable, it might be able to be made perm, though I'm not sure about that.

I believe the $10 is if you are upgrading a curent account, like if you have just CoH it will give you CoV and the extras, if you have both it will give you the extras. I think for a new account its somewhere around $29.99

good point, ill have to make sure before i do so then. I didnt think about that, they did word it as an "upgrade" serial code. hmmmm.

The GvE Edition is on sale now. So the prestige powers are available, to anyone who buys it for em, or to get into the game in the first place. Most of us, however, will be buying the serial code to update our accounts on the 6th. The question was posed to the ppl who have bought the actual box GvE edition. And so far, no one I know has any info on the powers.

I'm bothered by the veteran rewards giving you access to ALL of the prestige sprint powers. This makes my prestige Quick seem a little less unique now. I earned that power, prestige slide is for wimps :P

I honestly don't believe that it was actually released ANYWHERE on Friday. No one has said anything about having it. I think I'll check the main forums and see what I can see. I'll be going to Walmart again on Tuesday for the X-Men 3 package they have (which will include something called "X-Men Revealed", which will hopefully be cool). I'll check for it then.

After reading several threads on the main boards, I've discovered that this is actually an issue. Most, if not all, Walmarts have not recieved the game.
I'll let you all know Tuesday if it shows up. I'll be stopping there on my way home from work for X3.

Well I was at Wal-Mart earlier and they didn't have it in stock yet is what they told me. I think they should all be SEVERLY persecuted for messin with our emotions like that. I hope they release the upgrade package when they said. I will be soooooo mad if not.
