So apparently this morning Test was updated for the Halloween content. I started playing after the Halloween event last year so can anyone give me a little info on this event? I have heard that it is similar to/the same as last years and that there is Trick or Treating involved. Halloween being my favorite holiday I am definitely interested in this one.

Actually, the REAL Halloween event was 2 years ago during Halloween '04 in CoH. Last year, the release of CoV WAS the Halloween event. They didn't have the Trick or Treating or anything like that. So hopefully this year should be fun. I've never participated in it either.

I would assume that this means it's back with the reduced spawn times and increased salvage drops....at least I hope so!

I would guess the 'real' event will run mid-october through the halloween weekend, but that's just a guess...

i was on test and did participate in the halloween event, as you all know i am the top badge hunter on CoV GameAmp, and have provided the info on all the badges in the event except for the CoV anniversary badge sicne we dont get that til the 31st of October, but all the rest are in there, they are all achievement badges so just look for 2006 Halloween Event next to a badge and there you go.
There are 8 badges in the event, the 6 from the 2004 halloween event and 2 new ones.
Info on the Event:
Just click on a door, and you will get either a trick or a treat. if you get a trick, a small mob of halloween creatures spawn, which helps tally for the badges. if you get a treat you either get a inspiration or have a 35% chance of getting a salvage part needed to unlock the 5th costume slot. Eochai and Jack-in-irons are 2 monsters that spawn during the event, and a badge is awarded for killing them, also you must go to the appropriate zone that is near your lvl, for example a lvl 50 must trick or treat in Grandville.
