Hoorah for Anet Nightfall Team

I'm seeing a few threads here and there complaining, and even one supporting both likes and dislikes. This thread is for those of us who truly appreciate A-Net and would like to list everything theyve seen that amazed them, wowed the, or even made them nod their head and smile a little smile.

Please do not ruin this thread with your petty complaints. Evil geek said it best i think:

I personally have to give Anet a round of applause. Whenever i had an error i actually got a personal message window that came up and gave me the ABILITY..... the PRIVELEDGE....(yes i mean priveledge) to write a message and say specifically what happened, and when/what i did that caused the game to crash. I absolutely love that. It gave me the ability to feel like and do something about what happened and maybe help speed up the amount of time it took to get GW running properly. No other game in my experience offers this. I come from CoV a p2p(pay to play) game and when i had an issue it took up to 3 days to resolve.

My friend and i played last night despite the bugs for 6 hours straight. We soloed what we wanted and we had a blast. We havent done anything like that in ages.

The environment alone is absolutely stunning, and the graphics despite staring at the amazement for more than a year now somehow managed to wow me yet again. I saw new elements of graphics here and there.

One last thing i realized before i finally shut out the lights and passed out from exhaustion (woke up previously at 5am that morning and didnt get to sleep because of NPE till 6am), is that NO OTHER MMORPG or any other game really offers something like this. Sure you can go out and download the demo to some new game, but ANet provides free-of-hassle a demo event like NPE despite having a deadline, despite fixing all the current bugs, despite the huge task of getting a beautifully done game like this out.

What they showed was good/great/phoenominal, and i personally cant wait to buy Nightfall. Theres a certain mystery now that is surrounding it that, and air of anticipation and want.

A-Net, hope you see this guys. On behalf of all those who dont complain and see the beauty in all you do..

GW is an awesome game and so far so is Nightfall...though right now I can't connect for some reason. O_o The patcher wont connect which sucks cause I really wanna play my Dervish. XD;

And yes, I have to agree. ANet is doing a fantastic job on game, no!, the entire series. GW is just great, I think. Sure they make their mistakes, but hey, look at what they have made for us to enjoy with NO MONTHLY COSTS.

WEWTAGE CALOOH AND CALLAY. Nothing at all against whoever, but complainers about Nightfall are just whiners, the game is AWSOME.
Well balanced, very very nice graphics, scenery is awsome, and u can get a Pigmy Hippotamus as a pet! >.O Omg omg omg.

While I agree Nightfall is awesome, I'd edit that out pancake, there's no need for using that word in this instance, and some members may find it offensive.

Finally a post on the Positive side of things. Too many complaints and it's just a preview. :p

Honestly, I think those that have nothing but complaints are bored and are just looking for an excuse/reason to squawk. It's a game I absolutely enjoy.

I, on the other hand, have nothing to complain about. From what I have seen of nightfall after about 5 hours, it is fantastic. It's a marvelous new region to explore, and with 2 new professions to boot.

From the new heroes to the new skills for existing profession, I am just salivating for the release. Those that have spent the time in capping elites skills will now reap the rewards in the PvE section through their chosen heroes. Schweet!!! I am just chomping at the chance to put the elites on my heroes.

Cheers to the Nightfall team and all of Arenanet!!!

Well I can see the complaint if its a legit problem to let anet know its one that needs to be fixed which is a big part of doing the preview also. Its a was for them to find out the little problems they may have missed. But I do feel they could also leave a positive reply like besides the problem your experiencing the game is great or something of that sort. I myself haven't had any problems (knock on wood) and I think its totally awesome. In fact I like it better thn the others so far especially the landscape that we have seen so far.

So yes Anet keep up the great work and thanks for what you've done so far.

bumpy bumpy and i agree from the tiny amount of the game....or rather beta preview.....that ive seen, it is absolutely awesome...one thing which stood out most to me was the portals.

Yes.. Nightfall rules and out of the 100% that makes me wanna buy it, the 75% of it is because i can customize my own heroes.
incredible feeling to have Koss use "Charge" to speed things up, and also multi-tasking with interrupts and "Fear Me" :) he ownz..

YAY Anet!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Ive only played the preview for about 2 hours last night, but it was an awesome way to end a horrible week at school of statewide standardized testing(ewwwwww). Oh btw everyone keeps talking about the heros and new skills, which are awesome as well. However I havent seen much about the little things that are cooler with this event/game. One is that the portals used to move to new zones are way cooler looking than the old cloudy white ones. And something that I have been waiting for for a loooong time now.....The characters' mouths actually move in cutscenes now!!!!

Great job Anet only 2 hours of play and I am already excited as can be.

I am personally enjoying this game with my only complaints being I can't get to my goodies in storage AND I know all I do this weekend is going to be reset.

However, I understand the concept of the preview.

I think (in my own opinion, and you don't have to agree) that this could be the best of the three so far.

I can never think of anything catchy to write here.

yea! forreal, I was incredibly happy with what I saw last night :) yes, there are some buggs, but a-net is workin on fixing that! Hands down, this is the best I have seen from A-Net so far, and im loving it!!

agree with you 100%, anet is trying to make us happy by giving us a FREE preview of nightfall, and all these ppl can do is bitch, yeah the game did crash on me once, but as you said the thing popped up and let me write a report to them, nice job anet keep it up :)

As much as I complained about the factions preview event, I honestly cant think of anything to complain about the nightfall event.

Personally I liked the Nightfall event better than I liked the factions event and the beta weekends of Prophecies. It is by far the best game in the series(so far). Put it this way, after playing the event for a day, I have decided, 100% to get nightfall. The ONLY bad thing I can say about the event is when the retail game comes out, we will be doing the same exact thing as we did in the preview event for a little bit. Though once we make it past the first day or 2, everything will be new, so you cant really complain about it.
