yes there is, but whats the point for the preview.
its not like you can keep the armor anyways...
the place is blackstone, or blackrock er something
you can get new armor there after you finish the johkhr diggings mission

The best armour in the preview is at 'Blacktide Den' outpost/mission, although that is quite a way, you may want to buy a full set from 'Kamadan, Jewel Of Istan' first as getting there could prove to be a pain in the butt in Starter armour.

There's armor crafters in Kamadan, Jorugan Diggings (which is also the second mission), and Blacktide Den (which is also the third mission; see a pattern here?). However, the game is a LOT easier if you just get armor in all 3 places. Unless you happen to need Tanned Hide Squares for your armor (which I've seen going for 50g apiece), you'll have more than enough money for all three sets of armor, weapons for yourself and your heroes, and runes and dyes for yourself.

I wonder why you say he shouldn't buy the best armor. You can't depossit your money on the storage, so just spend it on armor and weapons ^^.

there is rumours goin around that they aint goin to delete the preview characters and that they are goin to disable them. there for you get to keep your amour and items and levels. whether or not this is true i dont kno but if they did things wud be fun than having to do all those annoying starter missions like running through a mob of levels at least twice of urs with a squad with a healer hench that doesnt do the slightest bit of healing
