Interesting. From the missions I played, it seems like the missions were like those in factions.(though i havnt played factions I know how the missions work) But after seeing this it seems that some missions are also like prophecies, in the sense of having seperate bonuses instead of having to beat the mission as fast as you can.
That being said, how exactly does that mission work? is it just like prophecies? It would be pretty neat if they put both mission styles into the game.
Update in whenever I dont feel lazy.

RE: Bonus of Blacktide Den
They have put both types of missions in. The 1st mission you have to do is Factions Style but the next two you do are prophecies style
Thats pretty neat. I like the old style of having more than just the mission to do. But the master's ratings for the missions is neat too, it will also give a variety of what you do in the missions.
Are you sure the first mission is time related? I mean, form what I have seen, the missions are Mission/Bonus with varying degrees of bonus - If you leave a bonus half done oyu get Expert, finish it you get Master, less than half you are standard.

All missions are Nightfall-style, which is somewhere between Factions and Prophecies.
In prophecies there was a primary goal and a bouns, all could be done separated.
In factions you had one goal, but 3 levels of completing - almost all the time the completion level was decided by time (with a few exceptions, like Eternal Grove and Gyala Hathery).
In Nightfall, there's a primary goal and a "scalable" bonus goal. If you do no bonus, it's standard; if you do some percent (dunno, prolly 50%) of the bonus, it's expert, if you do full bonus, it's master. Have an example:
Second mission, Jokanur Diggings. The bonus is to leave both ghosts alive. If you kill them both, but finish the mission, it's a standard reward. If you kill one but leave the other alive, it's expert (partial bonus); if you leave both alive, it's master (full bonus).
As far as I know, you still have to finish the mission to get the reward, like in Factions; but I guess bonuses ain't that hard to do with the primary goal as with Sanctum Cay or Ice Caves (where it was nearly impossible, since the characters most probably weren't infused by that point)...
