First off, let me just say I don't mean to offend anyone at all with this.
I know everyone is allowed their own opinion on anything they want but...seriously, can we stop with the complaints on this site? I'm getting sick of seeing almost every second post being a complaint about Guild Wars.
This site is supposed to be a fansite, meaning we should show our appreciation for the game, rather than constantly pointing out the faults in it.
Also, for people thinking about buying Guild Wars, I doubt it would help that much logging onto a website and seeing a dozen complaints about the game.
Just wanted to get that off my chest :P

He's complaing against the complainers that complain, so infact he's complaing about himself being a complainer.

I completly agree. If I was thinking about buying Guild Wars, I certainly wouldn't want to see faults pointed out in every thread, it makes the game seem uninviting. And the 2 posts above.. >_> hehe

I don't see the problem of complaining, as long as it's constructive, I mean, why is this topic starter is complaining about complainers? it is probably because he wants to change something because something is not working as well as it could...
If nobody was ever complaining, there wouldn't be any ameliorations, and maybe this place may not be a great place to post complains, but they can them may make you see problems under a different angle, under a different point of view... so that some who would complain see they could be wrong and be complaining for no reason...
(sorry if I made English mistakes)

I agree and disagree.
The complaints might not look appealing to those new to the site, but on the same note we're pointing out what wrong with the game, and hopefully someone from anet will find it and some of the complaints will get some problems fixed in the game. When I buy a game, I like to know both whats good and whats bad about it because if the game sounds REALLY good, but theres 1 huge thing wrong with it, that a lot of people are complaining about, I probably wouldnt get it.(of course if that 1 thing will pertain to how I plan to play the game). For example, if a bunch of people complain about the game crashing have 5 hours of play, I would probably still get the game cause I rarely play a game non-stop for 5 hours.

True, but constructive criticism seems to be an extreme rarity.

No you don't have to sit in the corner and not post anything, but at the same time don't sit in the corner if you are enjoying the game. There are a lot of people that don't post unless they have a complaint. At least be consistant and point out the the things you like if you are gonna post the things you don't like. If you don't like anything then move on and quit wasting all of our time.

This is a topic that has been beaten to death. Amp has become a much better place then it had been a while back. The reason for the influx of complaints is simply the NPE. It happened at the FPE, and I am sure it will happen at the next event.
People get themselves overhyped, imagining all the things the new release will bring, then are disapointed when it doesnt match up to their own mental image. It is the same as reading a book and then watching the movie, the movie almost always sucks when compared to your own imagination.
If you like the game, just ignore them. Write your own post on why you think the game is great.

Mistakes? Lol. I'm not sure. All I really noticed was a word I don't think I've come across before.
"Ameliorate" - that's a new word I've learned!
Thanks, +cred.
Oh, and I don't think you sound like a hypocrite Bob.
There is nothing wrong with complaining, as long as you do it in a reasoned, logical and inoffensive manner, AND, of course you should be able to evidence it. Alternative suggestions are always good too if you can come up with any.
Someone said about people only speaking up when they've got a complaint. It's true. Sadly, it's human nature that many people only speak when they've got something bad to say..
