This topic started in another members post, so rather than "jack" their topic, I will restart it here.
How about a Test server GAA event where each member brings their best toons, 50s, 40s, whatever, to the test server to hang out for a while. The missioning would be incredible, but the coolest thing would be meeting Brimstone Titan, Miss a Medica, Marine X, Electro, Death Conqueror, Black Phoenix, Raven's Path, Big Speer, Lord Xenophon, Xolquar, Warron Peace, Voltech, unsaglich, Summoned Dark, or the multitude of other great toons GAA members have on other servers in person and getting to play with them at their BEST. Chime in and let us know if we can do this.

My GAA toon (Path of Wrath), is my highest (38). And if everyone else is bringing 50ish to the table, I'm gonna have to sit this one out.

hmm test server... that'd be the EU test server, the one where we all play together right? That's the one I can put Firespray (the original) on.

I honestly hadn't thought of the sidekick factor. Guess that psych test took more out of me than I thought.

Id be up for it, on any day other than Sat/Sun. Virtue holds Hami Raids every Sat/Sun, so I'm pretty much unavailable, as least in the evenings. Other than that, give me a date/time, and if I can be there, I will.

Although I wish I was in the GAA I only have a mid-20's PB on Triumph server. I could bring my lvl 50 Ill/Kin troller from Freedom.

Can we copy to the EU test or Visa-Versa?
Everyone is invited, of course, but we do need to make sure that enough are interested to make it a Scheduled event.

GAA membership is not necessary i think. its meant to just bring your biggest, best, most shiny toon to the test server so you can show off and kick some major hiney.

that sounds great!! I would love to fight along w/ others from this site. I hate that we can't just move around to different servers w/ a toon. I'll be there if work permits.

I'd love to bring Brightside over to Test for some GameAmp romping. He's been out of missions for a long time, so I hope somebody has some for us to run. I'd like to see what all this talk about hardcore AVs is about. :)

Well, DC has had a Neuron mish for about 4 months.. (sue me.. it's my inf farm mish) we could run that, but i don't know how many more AV missions i'd be able to get from the lady. Never did Drek, though, so that's probably waiting in the wings.
And of course, there's always Shard and WB missions.

unsaglich still has Maria Jenkins as a contact with AV mishes lined up. I also have FBZ contacts.

never really tried out the Arena but that sounds fun! We should group up and have Ampers team Arena battles. I always wanted to try a team battle in the arena but was afraid to join a bunch of arena addicts that would STOMP me

I honestly don't see much of a reason to run outside of the green zones. The Shard would be fun, but travel will take up a good bit of our time.

Great idea, MarineX! I would love to romp up stuff together with all the great heroes of GameAmp. And the test sever is the ideal place to actually see you all. When is this going to happen? Phedre Delaunay will try to be there.

Lets make it non-Alliance only. Anyone is welcome. The only foreseeable issue is the small fact that outside of arena, you can only form teams of 8 at a time. This will make running any missions impossible, at least as one whole group.
That said, I think running PvP matches in the Arena would be a great way to test our skills against each other. Exemping is possible for the lower level members that want to join in the fun.
I'm gonna go on over to test and make a GA global channel, so we can all communicate once we go over there. I will name it:
gameamp.com
Just like it is live. Now we just need to decide on a night. How does Friday, October 6th, at 7PM EST, sound to everyone? That is one week from this coming Friday, enough time to get copied over and make plans. Post back on this thread if you can make it. If enough ppl can make it, that'll be the date and time, if not, we'll figure something else out.

i dont think i'll be able to join you guys before the middle of october. i had to go out of town for a few weeks to cover night shift at one of our job sites. i'm currently working 5pm to 330am, but i really dont want you guys to hold up on account of lil ol' me :) i miiiight be able to get in-game while at work, but i don't want to push it just yet. the only suggestion i have is to make it 8pm or a lil later so the west coasters can get home from work, school, etc. to join the fray.

I know I will probably miss out on the time that everyone is going to do this. thats a shame, I REALLY was lokking forward to teaming or fighting in arena w/ all of you. (I have yet to figure out how to get in the arena to fight). my hours at work are in the evening 3pm-1130 pm, mon-fri. but if everyone agrees on warron peace's time & date. maybe those who stay on late that night I may cya. here's hoping.

its really easy. you pretty much just walk into the arena. if you are with someone you know, they can just set it up and invite you. me and raz and it out the other day and it was like trying to fight Lord Recluse with just my mutagen, we got no where. but it was fun.
