OK, now after the veteran rewards program got announced I started checking on my accounts active time. So, on the 25th of august I had 4months of account time accrued, then I reactivated my account, paid for a month and then deactivated (cancelled recurring payment) straight away.
Now a month on my account has lapsed and I check again, my PlayNC page says I still have 4 months accrued. Now I have to say, whats up with that?!

Maybe it doesn't show up unless you add a few more months because you aren't eligable for another one of the "items"?

how do you check your acct to see how much time you've accrued?! I've been with the game for two years however due to card problems and moving i went a week or two without having my acct activated ugh. i'm certain that is going to bite me in the arse on the veteran awards!

I think its keeping track per 3 month period. I've been playing more than 18 months, but not 21. Mine says 18.

That wouldn't make sense in his case. Unless it shows you the first month and then starts the 3 month thingy. Which wouldn't make sense in your case...

Over on the official boards, Im pretty sure Positron said that the account time measurment thingamabob on your NCSoft account page is NOT what they will be using to determine vet rewards, as its somewhat unreliable.

To my understanding, you get credit for time paid for AFTER IT'S UP. So you start your account with the free month, but you don't get credited for that month until you've played through it, and if you've got 4 months on your account and pay for a fifth, you don't get credit for that fifth month until it's over.
My understanding is that this is supposed to prevent people for paying for a bunch of time all at once and claiming all the veterans awards that people will have access to once they've played a full three years.
Frankly, I can understanding the reasoning behind that: I've been playing for six months, say (I think it's a bit more than that, but whatever). I don't want to see some utter newbie who's got his dad's credit card running around with stuff I won't see for another two years. These are badges of how much time you've devoted to the game; not how much money you've got to spend on it.
Plus, it's time ACCRUED. Not time paid for. So play for a month and you'll have your 5 months, but not 'til then.

I've been with the game for two years but it just seems like the way they're counting the time is going to bite many in the arse. I don't even know where to go to configure my actual time, the time "They" dictate whether i accrued or not.

You will get paid for every month (I think they will go by 30 days) that you have paid for.
