They announced the first 4 rewards. Here
1st one is Trenchcoat and a free costume token
2nd one is Greek Letters for chest emblems and another costume token.
3rd Costume Piece: Belly Shirt for Females, Scottish Kilts for Males
Respec
And another costume token
4th Temporary Power: CHOICE: Permanent Undead Slaying Axe or Permanent Sands of Mu
Sprints: Rush, Dash, Quick, Surge
Wall Mounted Weapon Displays
These all seem pretty cool, PoW finally gets his skirt!! er kilt!!!

Permanent Sands of Mu. Oh, man, that's the best temp power ever. Well, from the PoV of a tanker who doesn't have enough attacks it sometimes feels.

Greek aphabet chest symbols as the 6 month reward is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Now, the 9 month one on the other hand....

Path of wrath was saying in game this afternoon that wings will be sometime after a year, which they will reveal next week sometime.
i think adding the greek letters for chests are cool, but not as a vet reward.

The 6 and 9 month rewards are kinda....well... Not exactly what one would expect after so much time with CoH. They should make the greek letters the 3 month reward, the kilts as the six months, the trech coats as the 9 month and keep the 12 month one where it is.

the 9 month one isnt that bad, you do get a free respec that DOESN'T count against the free respec you get when new issues come out.

That's what I consider key for the 9 month reward. A free respec. Always a good thing.
I'm looking forward to finding out the 15, 18 and 21 month rewards...since I'll be getting those. :)
I'm actually happy with all of the rewards, even the greek letters, extra costume options are seldom a bad thing. Now if only they would make Shoulder Pets for Males, my life will be complete. :)

I was kinda expecting things like the 12 month and 3 month rewards every quarter!

I like da fact that the respec is on every character, maybe I can go back to the original Evil Lemons. As for the costume changes I don't really care for any of the suits, another skimpy suit for the females. Yay! jk

A lot of us were spoiled by the free respecs in almost every issue, so that's why the free spec doesn't seem that great. But honestly, the freebie respec is awesome, in my opinion. And the kilts are cool too.
Getting the prestige sprints is pretty cool, especially if they're slottable. You can slot one with end redux, one with run speed, one with jump...so it might actually be slightly useful.
Those weapons are cool too. My question on that is, is the choice going to be per-character or per-account. I might not want all of my characters to have the undead slaying axe, for example. I'm guessing it's per character, though.

I think they are just different animations for sprint, not 100% sure though. In my original link there are pictures of them under the 12 month reward section.

I like the trenchcoats and the free respec, but about the wall mounted weapon cases who's weapon are you going to put in them?
Do a lot of the AV's have weapons? I'm a little confused by why you'd want to put something like that in your base?!?

Shoulder pets, yeah I want a Small Dragon like from the Pern Novels.
But the Kilts, that's just awsome (Highlanders o' plenty), and the Trenchcoats, already know a few who designed charactors with Trenchcoats in mind but none available at the time.
Just a question about Kilts though... will they have the plaid colour patterns or just be solid coloured, plaid is what really helps make Kilts Kilts (also denotes family of wearer and if there are Plaid patterns who's family colors will they choose?
It all sounds excelent, i'm hyped just knowing its gonna happen...
I have also heard rumours that there will be no official "Free Respec" released with i8(now that I know of the vet reward it adds a bit more credibility to the rumour) is this true or net gossip?

First:
Undead Axe. it's got a super bonus vs. undead things, and as we were debating on the main boards, undead = BP, ghosts, halloween zombies.. (maybe even zombie MMs). otherwise, it's a decent attack.
Sands of Mu: most people on the boards don't like this as a reward possibility b/c it's the exact same as Shadow Maul from the Dark Melee set. But, with build up.. bye bye even con minion.
These choices are per character.
Next:
the respec at 9 months. Yay for a respec, but what's even better is what i think the description says: For all current characters and NEW characters. You make a character after vet. rewards come out, and if you've got 9 months, it automatically picks up a respec. VERY NICE.
Finally:
respec for I8: Posi already basically said no. It was asked on the boards, somebody posted something like "I bet we get a respec for the vet. rewards, not I8" (not direct quote), and posi responded to that saying "you're my new favorite poster". So, doubtful we'll see a respec with I8.

What is my favorite part of this announcement?
The new flight poses. They look great. One picture had the one arm extended and the knee bent, while the other was full out, both hands forward and legs extended. I am wondering if it will be random selection each time you start flying or is it specific to the costume parts or body types.

I belive they are their own powers. The site says:

The only reward that has me scratching my head were the greek letters. As others have said, it's cool an all, but as a vet reward... not sure. I'd have rather seen masks with patterns on them so you can better match mask with costume. But that's just me.
Kinda hoping wings aren't the 2 year reward... cause that will make it a long time til x-mas watching everyone else flapp around.
My real question is... how are those alternate flying poses going to work? Tired of flying chin first.

When they do the new flying poses I'm going to assume it'll be a costume option. As for the wings I'm betting 2 years. One of the red names posted something to the effect of "Some people will get them when they hit live"

Sands of Mu is, in my opinion, one of the BEST temp powers you get in the game. It is a series of lightning fast hits that do pretty good damage and strikes in a narrow and short-range cone, so you can actually hit several opponents at once.
I can't see what people would complain about with this power. Even people who have the equivalent Dark Melee power already -- this means they can use it twice as often.
It will be right there on my power bar when I get up to 12 months.
Also, the respec is a great bonus from my PoV, even if you get them with every character at a new issue. It means I get to fool around with new ideas for my character more freely.

i've been thinking since they're giving away the 4 sprints that were exclusive to beta testers, do you think there is a possibility of the 4 CoV pre-order helmets being a vet. reward too?

oh wow this just excited me! i didnt realize but having one of these temp powers means i can drop an ice melee attack for something else! i've been trying to think of ways to rebuild my icer tank for PvP and this will help a lot.
