Issues finding the PBP

None of the stores have them on the shelves. I call around, they say they don't have them. I check the sites (like for EB and Best Buy and they say they DO). EB lists it as the "Starter Kit" and Best Buy labels is just "Guild Wars Nightfall" also releasing it today... I'm getting discouraged and losing interest in getting it for the work I have to go through to get it. (cannot use credit card either)

Anyone sharing these problems? Have suggestions?

You can buy one from Amazon.com. As for anyplace else, I really don't know. I got mine from my local GameStop about a week after it was out.

I picked mine up at EB the day it was released, and I'm in Canada. Anyways, Amazon is a good place. Good luck!

I plan on getting one this weekend from EBGames, the local store website says they have 4+ in-stock.

I just went and reserved Nightfall last night and they handed me a Preorder and I was like...cool.

Thanks guys. :) Although I can't use Amazon, I'll just have to keep trying the local stores. The EB close to me said they'd hold one if they got one and I'll probably pick it up tomorrow if they have one.

i preordered nightfall CE from amazon.ca about 2-3 weeks ago and it says its not gonna come till september 2007... really messed up (plus did you say if you preorder nightfall you get the preorder thing, or were you talkign about something else, im kinda slow :P if thats what u meant, i didnt get the preorder thing :( )

Depends on the retailer Monkey. Most retailers will hold the PRP for you if you pre-ordered the game. Either CE or SE.

If thats the case for me, then I'll just order it through the store, I just figured why order it if its gonna take longer to ship than if I can pick it up over the weekend. I would just go ahead and pre-order the game + PBP, but my dad works contract so we could end up moving before the game would get here, so I'm gonna have to pickup the PBP than go out and get the game when it comes out.

I went to a local EB shop, and the clerk said he was waiting for them to come in as well. I put in my pre-order, but have not heard from them regarding the arrival of the Preview Pack. And that was last friday, just before the preview weekend, which as a player we didn't need the special codes anyways.

i was charged an extra $5 on top of the $5 i put down on it to reserve it

told me that you had to buy the package separate which i found strage considering its called pre-order package...

EB games did this to me

is this how it is everywhere or did i get jipped?

o well i still got it so im happy :)

According to their website, If you pre-order the game you get the starter kit of $5, otherwise you have to pay $10 for it.

Yes, unlick the Pre-Release Bonus Packs for Prophecies and Factions, the one for NIghtfall costs $5 USD(and whatver that converts to for everyone else). And I think that is mainly cause of the extra character slot. And I have no problem with it at all. Your getting the slot for half the cost. :)
