I've spotted a good few stories that would deserve a mention on Gameamp, and I often do it in the forum... but either before I have, or just after... Some mysterious Gameamp member usually gets all the news on our front page, and it's not just for Guild Wars, he/she posts for 14 Games in total, all on the Gameamp network.
The poster is scorpioeyez.
He/she has no forum posts, no images, nothing, except 184 History items, all news.
Certainly a mysterious benefactor... and Gameamp certainly gets kept up to date due to his/her vigilence.

Hehe, me too, but every time I'm reminded of the Poster, the news always seems to be the big issue, and I get chatting about that, and forget...
This time the news only seems applicable to Americans/Canadian that can get to Seattle for a few Beers... unfortunately, the Taxi fare home would probably leave me in debt for a good few decades...

I'm curious about this too, and was going to PM an admin or something to find out if anyone actually knows who it is.
it seems that his/her news gets approved instantly, and i never get a PM explainging why mine wasn't (i've posted some that havn't been approved yet, it's been over a week, and there's still no other post with the same news... very odd if you ask me.)
anyway, it's kinda strange...

i'm weirded out by this person as well because i deal with most of the news items. news items are supposed to come through the Unapproved Content area of the site, which is where i pretty much live... somehow i've never seen his news in the list... ever.
so i'm not sure if it's another Admin approving or what but it is just odd.

There used to be an old bug with screenshots(that I discovered and PM'ed to Lani way back then), it was basically a glitch where you could submit a screenshot too large, than when it came back telling you it was too large you could change the submission and also check the Approved? box. That glitch was fixed and I dont think theres a size limit for news, so it probably is another admin(unless its a similar bug).

I could have sworn there was a news post about this. Hum....
GameAmp has 2 official news posters for the network. We want to be able to bring you all the gaming news as quick as possible, so these two people were brought on to help us out. Scorpioeyez and BatteredBarbie are these wonderful people. Their main focus are the sites that we don't have any staff on right now, but when they see news that isn't posted about on other sites, they do post it up. They are both considered Admins, as they do approve their own submissions. They have been posting news for a while now, but haen't been as active on the GW site until recently.
They do post wonderful news, don't they?
